Random City Players

Simon Royce was an odd one as a reserve 'keeper who never played for us but was on the team sheet for a while.

Then 3 years later he started at the Valley for Charlton v us and it was a good Omen in a 5-2 win living up to his invisible reserve 'keeper status.

Two Irish guys that came through the City Academy in the early 00's, did not make many if any first team appearances were Stephen Elliott, sold on to Sunderland, he had a few Irish caps and looked promising at one time, the other was Patrick McCarthy, a center back who was sold to Leicester, you might have seen him recently, as he became caretaker manager of Palace after the sacking of Vieira
Elliott made 2 appearances for the City first team, McCarthy did not make a first team appearance

Ron Watterhaus and some Belgian keeper in the early days of Pearce I think. Got injured pre-season and never featured again.

When Bernardo Corradi scored twice at home to Fulham and everyone thought the floodgates would open. He scored once more all season (from memory.)
