Random interactions with nature

anyone seen the Loch Lomond wallabies? quite shy but restricted to a small island.

ran into a deer the other day, gave each other a right shock.

I was walking near down the Thames near Greenwich the other day and there were 4 seals swimming in there, never seen that before

I was out walking the dogs this morning, and heard a funny squawk, looked up into the trees and saw several Parakeets not somethings I thought I’d see in the middle of Lancashire, I remember years ago when I first visited St James Park near the palace and they were everywhere, I’m guessing they must be country wide now
Hopefully we will be seeing a Paqueta flying at the Etihad very soon..

Saw a kestrel feasting on a mouse right outside my office door at Hampton court palace last week

Yeah the rumours were they escaped from the set of The Africa Queen but that was found to be false and that they were just birds that had escaped captivity and then started breeding. This is apparently the distribution in the UK...

Wonder how similar that map is to human immigration into the U.K..

It wouldn’t be a million miles off, I suspect.
