Rangers and debt

Think they have 31 senior players.

Their wage bill players last time round was £6-£7m (take the high figure)

So the average wage at the moment is £226,000 per player per year (rounded up) or £4,346 a week before tax..

Doesn't seem like that crazy spending to me.

To be spending money like that up here in that league is crazy. It's different for you guys cause even the smaller clubs that don't have major backers can pay ridiculous wages like 40K a week. Up here it is a totally different ball game

No reason at all why the Scottish football teams Glasgow Rangers and Glasgow Celtic from the Scottish city of Glasgow in Scotland who play in the Scottish league ever should.

They would if they were given half a chance.
It would be impossible to happen. Scotland would lose it's UEFA ranking if this happened, and a GB team would take a giant step forward. There is also the devolution question to consider and I doubt if the nationalists would sit back quietly. If UEFA was to be scrapped in favour of the modern day structure of the game [no bad thing], maybe something could happen then, but I can't see this ever happening.

It's not just that though (albeit you're right); English clubs wouldn't want them. Why would the top clubs want 2 new competitors - and they would become exactly that in the medium term given the size of them - and why would the middle ranking clubs want any chance of getting in to Europe removed by them arriving, and why would the struggling clubs want to be pushed closer to relegation? It's rarely talked about, but the English Premier League clubs wouldn't want them anywhere near.

Not me I couldn't care less for Scottish football tho the one thing I do ponder on is that when rangers went tits up and we're no more, could they not have registered with the English leagues and make there way up the ladder towards the premiership???? Please feel free to correct me

Apparently they tried that approach before joining s.f.a

could they not let rangers go bust, but buy a league2 team then change the name and move to Scotland,it will sort out all their problems.no debts, into the English league but still effectively be rangers
