Spot the litter bin.
Rangers fans=42 arrests over 200,000.
City fans arrested v Sunderland=36 just over 3,000,eeeeeeeekkkkkkkkk.
Some of the stuff on youtube is shocking but some of the stuff involving the Police is shocking aswell.

I believe the rush started when someone overheard a policeman say he'd dropped a ten pence and couldn't find it. They old bill thought they were being attacked and understandably, but wrongly, retaliated.

Police boss: Council caused Rangers riot by turning off big screen
<a class="postlink" href="http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereveningnews/news/s/1182500_police_boss_council_caused_rangers_riot_by_turning_off_big_screen" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://menmedia.co.uk/manchesterevening ... big_screen</a>
So the COUNCIL turned off the screen, perhaps something to do with Piccadilly Gardens being a tad overcrowded.
From the official report.
Piccadilly Gardens is not a suitable space to use for a large-scale event
with large numbers of people anticipated as it is difficult to control. It is
surrounded by a major transport interchange including metrolink lines
and bus routes.

Apart from a small number of isolated incidents the only serious disorder took
place in Piccadilly Gardens..... Nevertheless it must be noted that this involved a number of hundreds of Rangers fans with 99% plus having no involvement whatsoever.

Rangers Football Club shares the belief of many that the trigger for disturbances in Manchester City Centre that evening was the failure of the large screen in Piccadilly Gardens which was filled with around 20,000 fans,... ... the consequences of the failure to have sufficient back-up systems for the screen in Piccadilly Gardens were dire.
But trouble erupted in a fan zone after a big screen in Piccadilly Gardens in the city centre failed just before kick-off.
Police said later that they had never encountered disorder of such "ferocity and intensity".
Passing sentence, Judge Andrew Blake said: "Police were deployed in full riot gear and struggled to contain the trouble and restore order.
"What followed was the worst night of violence and destruction suffered by Manchester city centre since the Blitz
So to sum up the screen didn't fail, the council were blamed for the riot by the police..........anyone care to dispute the judge saying it was the worst damage since the blitz ??????because i fuckin do,
