Rangers FC

As far as I'm concerned Rangers and Celtic could both dissapear tomorrow and no one would care. They're shit sectarian teams that are more interested in smacking each other for being the wrong religion than actually caring about football.

And before anyone tries to defend their fans etc, I'm sure they've got some decent ones but just look at their track record, Rangers in Manchester kicking cops to the ground, Celtic singing during WW1 remembrance.

Eh? Celtic and Rangers have more fans combined world wide than most of the EPL clubs combined, so don't talk pish. Its funny hearing City fans go on about sectarianism, I'm sure you all must cover your ears and pretend it doesn't exist when you hear fellow City fans singing sectarian songs on trains and buses to away matches.

Anyway, the good people of Glasgow will be buying their chicken and milk from the new Ibrox branch of Tesco very soon.

Also, Celtic fans making noise (outside the ground may I add as proven) at the last rememberance was for a rememberance for all British soldiers in all wars, including the Black and Tans and the soldiers serving in NI. Now, you may not care but a good lot of those Celtic fans have had family killed by the British Army, they've every right in a first world democratic country to air their grieviances. Or does free speech only count when it suits?

You clearly don't know what you are talking about, would be best to keep it shut.

Generic "Fuck the Pope" songs you'd expect from Rangers and Hearts fans at Sunderland away last season would be one example.

Now, I'm not lover of the Catholic Church nor do I like the pope, but that is the very definition of the word sectarian.

Who gives a fuck about the jocks. Big hard men smashing things up with no one to fight. Sent part of their allocation back for match against the rags. If we let them in the prem they would last 2 seasons at the most. They would be fighting relegation & their fans would desert them. They are used to winning against those other big clubs e.g. Hibs. Glasgows population is 560,000 Manchester 420.000 This is cities not county e.g greater manchester. 2 so called big clubs in scotland that is why they get their support. Has for support around the globe that is easy 2 explain. Most fans have a team they look out for their results. Again only 2 in Scotland so the get armchair support. My lad bought a Barca shirt on holiday. But he don't support them it just one of those things.

Are you saying City fans sang 'Fuck the Pope' songs at Sunderland last year, because if you are it is news to me.

I have never heard City fans sing sectarian songs, ever, and I go back to the 60's.

I really don't know what to make about your claims.

City fans singing anti Pope songs is just sheer fantasy.

Maybe I misread your post, and if I have, then I apologise, but I stand by my claim that I have never heard City fans chant religious songs.

I'm saying some City fans did, just as not every fan of Celtic and Rangers are foaming at the mouth for each others blood as people on here would have you believe.

I brought my brother and all to that match in particular and was embarrassed as fuck about it. Some of the shite I heard you'd think we were back in Belfast in the 90s.

Sectarianism does not end at the border, that is my point.

There is no point to make.

I don't believe you.

I have never heard City fans, or fans from England, whichever team they support, chanting sectarian garbage.

I couldn't give two fucks if you don't believe me.

Oh, I'll keep polishing my medal, and I live in England, a country that really doesn't care about sectarian nonsense.

Ta Ta.
