Och aye just another honest mistake.After watching the Roofe foul last night, rather than just look at a still, there's no way the referee could've seen what happened so couldn't have sent him off.
That's not to say that had it been in England with VAR, he shouldn't have been red carded, but without technology and with 2 or 3 players between the ref and the challenge, he couldn't possible have seen where Roofe's foot made contact.
He's booked him because he knows he's gone in hard but he would've been guessing at what happened if he'd sent him off.
Despite the ref not being in the picture of the clip you've assumed he was unsighted from seeing the challenge
