Rangers thread | 2025/26

Yes, however after many sleepless nights the new RFC manager's footwear can be revealed. These are oxfords and not brogues, so not sure how the traditionalists will feel about this. He seems to be getting a hard time from Rangers-minded pundits already for losing one game which wouldn't happen with Stevie Gbh.

Brogues are casual shoes so shouldn’t be worn with a suit. So he’s doing well on that front.

Back to back wins.

On a Rohl (I'll get me coat)
I’m not supposed to get myself stressed out but FFS!! That was a brutal watch second half! On the other hand that is exactly what you have to do if you want to be successful. You have to find a way of winning

Although he gave away the penalty Connor Barrons best game for Rangers. The three at the back is certainly making a difference and long May it continue.

Credit where it’s due. Hibs played well and especially second half and will feel aggrieved not to get something from the game.

Hearts , Celtic , Rangers and Hibs will all take points of each other so it’s still a very open league race between the Top 3 clubs

I didn't see it (was watching another game, funnily enough). But from what I've read, Rangers weren't great. But a win's a win. I'd have taken a "not great" performance at Villa last weekend, if it brought the three points. Rohl seems to have had an impact, despite a lot of misgivings among Rangers fans.

First half we were ok, 2nd half wasn't great at all, but nice to see a rare trait this season among the players, a bit of resilience.

The officiating last night was a complete and utter disgrace and sabotaged any kind of flow. Second half was a mess but we still managed to stay fairly solid at the back aside from one or 2 minor issues. The penalty was unlucky with Tavs slip and the resulting minor contact from Barron. Not sure I agree Hibs can feel hard done by tbh think we deserved the win.
Looked better shape wise last night, proper graft from all areas of the pitch and id have taken that result all day before the game. Very happy given the shambles we were only a week ago in Rohls first game.

Hibs first home defeat in a year

Rangers first away clean sheet in 25 games

5 changes from Sundays win which suggests strength in depth

Players we all thought were miles off it actually showing in the right system with a manager that actually knows what he’s doing are maybe good enough to mount at least a challenge

I’m not getting carried away as we have been let down so many times in the past but it’s been a great start for Rohl

If you think the officiating in our game was poor wait till you see the St Mirren goal that got disallowed hahaha

I still can’t believe the linesman flagged for a foul after Bowles horrific attempt at getting Meghoma a second booking. At least he’s learned something from Martin Boyle

Mate that dive was hilarious. Blows my mind that professionals lower themselves to that sort of embarrassing stuff. Meghoma was very good last night too but was obviously a target after the first yellow.
Not seen the disallowed goal will have to check it out.

You're getting a wee bit carried away. You lot cant help it. Its not been "great" of anywhere near it. Its been less shite. I watched it later and if you're getting excited by that, fuck me, you're grasping at straws.

We beat you on Sunday, he will be getting the start of the abuse that leads to the double shuffle to the door.

If you win, you will be printing flags with Treble winners on it.

Same shite, different season.

Rangers belief surges into overdrive as Connor Barron ‘massively confident’ of beating Celtic.

And so it begins, from that useless ****.

Just cant help yourselves. Hysterical lack of self-awareness. :)

I'm assuming this was a wee joke at your own expense considering your record against this shit Rangers team recently? ;)

No, we have shat it against a poorer team under Rogers for a year. His tactics are and always have been shit. When we get right at you, under Ange, we blew you away for the most part. I am so happy to have got rid of him. Desmond trying to con us into his delusion they are great and it' s all Rogers fault, has pissed us off big time. We need rid of that classless **** too. I can just about take defeat against you, but bottling it is crossing a line. And thats what we were under Rogers. Slow, predictable and easy to play against. With Buck away, we will hopefully go straight fimor your throats and exploit your chronic defence. I live in hope.

Of course he’s confident … 100% of the matchday officials come from a group that make up 16% of the population!! Coincidence? I think not.
