Rangers thread | 2025/26

Hearts have a genuine chance in the league, seeing how shite both these teams are.

Whoever thought making up a defence that included the likes of Aarons, Meghoma, Cornelius and Njiga for Scottish football needs their head looked at.

Look like wee boys out there at times.

We shoukd have scored 8. They were nowhere. A fucking dodgy penalty as per. Knew it was coming.

3 1 that'll do
Even with 11 v 11 we had the better chances

It’s simply not a level playing field and I called it as soon as the officials were announced.

It’ll be the usual ‘dignified silence’. Not fucking good enough.

Behave. I have actively watched City home and away for 54 years. My take : AS A NEUTRAL. Rangers were very lucky number 13 didn't walk before Bruce Lee walked. Celtic player had to go after 11 walked, as stupid as it was? Celtic should have been 3-1 up at half-time. Rangers with ten men were easily the better team in the second-half. They were very unlucky not to win with their 10 men. At the end the legs went.

Here’s the view of two ex referees that , like so many of our officials , Celtic minded

Celtic were the better team and deserved to win. If Willie Collum was judged the way a football manager was, he would be relieved of his duties. This has been a game filled with inconsistency, uncertainty and no control by a referee he has backed to the hill.

So kicking a goal keeper in the head isn’t a Red card?

So Ralston , already on a booking, body checking on two separate occasions is not a second booking? No second booking at penalty

Maeda pulling back Raskin when the Rangers is breaking firward is not a booking?

I agree Assagards was a Red but at the same time kicking a Rangers player in the chest ( Maeda) is. Red

There is no debate here. Rangers were cheated by officials hand picked for what they are by a head of refereeing who is in position for what he is

Quick tip for you; don't waste your breath. Your blood pressure will thank you for it.

You lost because the other team were better for one half, and extra time. That said as a neutral- I thought Rangers played really well.

Frustrated.

Started really nervously, looked terrified at the back especially on the ball and just invited a load of pressure. Farcical first goal that was disallowed for a really tight offside (not totally convinced it was tbh).
Shite goal to concede. No arguments with Aasgaard red card, he continues to disappoint. Trusty lucky to not be sent off. Not really as convinced by the Maeda one think yellow was about right for that one. Really strong effort with 10 men for so long just disappointing their 2nd goal knocked the stuffing out of us and Butland will be pissed off about it. Shame for him he's been class so far this season.

Neil Lennon believes it’s a Red card for Trusty who I believe went on to be man of the match ..

ETA.. we didn’t okay well enough at all as that’s a very poor Celtic team

Awww fuck ya utter knob
I wasn't actually addressing you, but anyway. Don’t get upset fella. You ought to be happy that you seem to be showing signs of improvement under Rohl. By the way; I don't know if you've caught any of our game this afternoon. But if you think referees in Scotland are bad, you should have seen Taylor today at our game. Utterly inept.

Apologies for that. That was beyond dickish from myself.

Pish they missed 3 sitters.
Celtic huffed and puffed all game.
Lack of quality from both teams must be a worry.
Hearts must have been watching that with a slight smile on their face. There was nothing out there that should frighten them. From either side. Yes; there's a hell of a long way to go until next may. And Hearts will have slip ups, 100%. But so will the Glasgow teams. Can Hearts capitalise? It'll be interesting to see how it pans out.
