Rangers thread | 2025/26

Using a photograph from 6 and a half years ago to try and justify a point. Beyond desperate ffs

St Mirren looked better than any of the two sides playing today, both dug meat.
Ffs you’re more crabbit than me.

Anyway the way your teams going you’ll save a fortune not having to rip up the ‘carpet’

I'm dandy pal. Had a wee laugh seeing a photograph from 6 and a half years ago included there is all.

Pitch is being ripped up regardless. Training centre coming on well, was long in the pipeline before the regulations came in. Sadly, so was a long hard season, and so it's panning out. Still get a wee giggle at how bad the old firm are, mind you.

Couple of mates work for Malcolm’s and they are down at the new training ground quite a bit. They tell me it’s some size of place.

Poor run of form at the moment but I think it’ll be a tight league all season in the bottom half. All capable of pulling of a result but equally capable of going on a poor run of form

On a side note regarding East Ayrshire. My wee nephew scored a 40 yarder against Talbot yesterday for Largs Thistle

Rangers to seek an explanation over Trusty non Red card. Not good enough!! Not nearly strong enough and we should be demanding the end of Walsh’s career as he has previous for this

He started as a decent young g official who many had hope for but he has become more and more emboldened… The Diomande Red (later rescinded) should have been the end

Just watched it on Talbot's twitter feed. Some strike with the left peg.

Don't know what will happen down the bottom. We have a huge home double header against Motherwell and Dundee Utd sandwiched in-between away fixtures at Celtic initially then Hearts (then Rangers...). Must take minimum 4 pts from those home games imo.

It’s his 21st birthday and he’s a St Mirren supporter so not a bad weekend except for losing to me at darts in the Flight Club : )))

I know they are always everyone’s tip but if I had my choice I wouldn’t mind Livi going down

Well if that was a red, the assault on Kenny, another booking, is six months on remand.

IF? Fucking IF????

Ffs there is no IF. Trusty kicked the goalkeeper in the head while he had the ball!!

Ralston , on a booking, dives and saves a goal bound shot with his arm. No second booking. The rules are there and it’s an automatic booking. No argument In all honesty he should have been off earlier

Maeda kicks Diomande in chest, IIRC, making no contact with ball a booking yet Assagard gets straight Red for winning the ball and catching Ralston. No consistency .

Rangers seeking clarification gets you nowhere. Two domestic defeats this season and both have seen dreadful refereeing performances with zero consequences for the officials involved and zero consequences for their boss

He did ref Rangers a lot differently from Celtic.
Never bought into no 8 conspiracy theory's with refs but yesterday this clown was out of his depth.
It’s not my conspiracy. Stewart Milne is on record as saying Lawwell runs the game. Stuart Gilmour (ex St Mirren chairman) said the game is run to benefit one club. George Peat (ex SFA president) on record that Lawwell tried to bully him

Rangers called out Collums bias and twice asked he was not given our games. He was widely regarded as the poorest referee of his generation and what happens on retiral? He is rewarded with promotion to head SFA refereea

Those two - a booking that should've been a booking and an incident where you can't really see what happened - against the Rangers keeper being kicked in the head. Not the greatest defence.
Cornelian was a straight fucking red. End of. Plus two handball incidents for yilou innthe box wirse than Ralston, have you seen the still, what was he supposed to do. He tucked his arm under, but, nothing to see.
Selective retention me thinks.

I don’t even think the Cornelius one is a free kick never mind a booking. Either way absolutely desperate stuff from MP

Just for the record the Cornelius challenge , which I believe is a good hard tackle, leads to Celtic scoring

Sometimes it’s just better to say nothing.

You’re just embarrassing yourself trying to defend the indefensible

Yesterday it would have been easy for me to go along with Bennyboy on the Assagard Red card but I didn’t. I call things as I see them and it’s a straight Red in my opinion. Whataboutery and defection is your way

There was no intention to injure and he didn't it was a booking. Look up the rules. Also look up thecrules on hand ball and Ralston tucked hus arm under himself. You had two hand ball incidents in the box later on, nothing. They couldn't wait to give you a penalty. The only way you were scoring.

So, you think Corneliius was onkyba yellow?
