Rangers thread | 2025/26

Why post then dafty?
I was just thinking that Apple Pine guy had a full head of hair. Could ApplePine be MP?

Anybody that doesn’t know why they get called Apple Pines can google it. Hysterical stuff in a sad way. I blame the schools.

Ralston got a sore one ,,,red. Butland sorry gers fans not so much so a yellow. Now that's me in someone's bad books
Hahahaha

Assagard gets the ball and it’s a purely accidental coming together

Trusty deliberately kicks the goal keeper in the head and you think it’s a booking.

Beyond laughable

I am not a Gers or a Celtic fan so it's what I thought sorry to have upset you.
I’m not upset. I find it laughable anybody with even the slightest interest in football believes deliberately kicking an opponent in the head whilst making no effort to play the ball can be anything other than a Red card

As for the amount of force. How often do you see players going head to head and a player making a forward movement and the slightest contact the opponent goes down. Straight Red every time

Nick Walsh , Sundays referee, when questioned over giving Diomande (Rangers) a Red card at Tannadice said ‘Diomande struck the United player with more than negligible force’ therefore it was a Red card offence. I think you’d agree Trusty kicked Butland with more than negligible force’….Also interesting to note Walsh was told to review his decision at Tannadce as Diomande made NO contact but decided to stick with his decision which of course was overturned on appeal. He also didn’t give Rangers a goal at Easter Road that was clearly over the line …Hibs go up the park and score.

Great article in today’s Scottish Daily Express

Got as far as the off side.

Desperate the lengths you’ll go to try and defend the indefensible….but then again you’ve defended far far worse

Christ; I thought our match threads were bad for conspiracy and agenda theories. But these last few pages (from BOTH sides) have shown us to be lightweights.

I have admitted in the past I know a certain official cheated in an Old Form game which earned Rangers a point in a game they otherwise would have lost. His brother (also a linesman) disallowed a certain Celtic goal they are still greeting about to this day. Not to difficult for MP to work out who they are. The game I know about they were both running the line which I believe was the first time Brothers (in more ways than one) ran the line in an Old Firm

It’s not always down to agendas and conspiracies. I’ve defended Francis Connor many times on FF as he was a linesman when Celtic scored a winning goal in a cup final with not one, not two but three Celtic players offside. Problem is for the conspiracy theorists he was on the other side of the park and it was David Roome who missed the offside. Roome is a friend of a friend and my mate assures me he is a huge Rangers supporter.

Who’s be a referee / linesman

Relax. I was jesting.

Sort of!

I know (well I think)

Anyway City are looking more like the City we know. Going to the Lakes weekend before Xmas and trying to talk my brother in law into the West Ham game
Nice part of the world, more so in the summer. If it's blowing a gale, and the rain's coming down at 45°, it might'nt be quite so nice!
