The new CEO will be Richard Arnold, currently the Group MD. Like Woodenhead, he was at Bristol University from 1989-1993 and they both went to PWC as trainee accountants, where they both qualified then went their separate ways. Woody went into investment banking while Arnold went into the telecoms industry.

So he's a Woodenhead clone, with no direct football knowledge other than his commercial experience at United. They never learn, thank goodness.
