Rangnick quits consultancy role (Pg 89)

Thought there was a chance Ralf might let himself down today against a hapless Toffees side. However, he came up trumps with a sterling defeat from the jaws of almost guaranteed victory. Well done sir Ralf.
 



Looks like his consultancy role will play 2nd fiddle if he's doing this. Whole thing seems a bit weird and a bit of a mess.

Why the hell do Austria want him. Useless with a billion pound squad, 10 wins in 25 games rewarding failure but he is still doing his 6 days a month consultancy role for Rags. if i was the Rags i would get shot of him with his record there

Sounds like he'll be a part time Txiki.

Ralf Rangnick has spoken on what his consultancy role at the club will look like: "The most important thing for me is recruitment. That is the most vital point, that we bring in the best possible players.

"It is not only about identifying those players but also meeting them and convincing them to join this club, even though we are not in the Champions League. This is what I see as the most important bit and then it is also about identifying top talented players in the academy."
