i know its not the best but a good ballanced opinion would be nice.

I'd say he needs a wider variety in his lyrics and get it to link better in a smoother flow. I would say he was pretty good at bending words to make them fit into a rhyme, which is one of eminems main traits. He was also at points just making words rhyme and then going where that word took him. He needs to find a way to say on the subject of the song but still get the words to fit in. Eminem again can have a 5 minute song without really deviating from the subject matter but he throws a hugely diverse yet interlocking set of rhymes into his material. It'd also be good to see him hit a whole verse fast, instead of going at speaking pace at times.

to be fair thats what i told him. he needs to have lyrics that make people relate but at the same time i respect him for trying. i wouldnt try to compare him to any of the proven rappers i know hes not that good but i want to try to encourage him without denting his confidence too much.
also this is my cousin who is just starting to get into it.

Well I remember reading about Eminem somewhere that when he was young he used to listen to every big rapper that was out there and created his style on that. There is lots of areas that they can improve on, I'd certainly start with spending more time on the lyrics. Also the 2nd one needed the music quieter, it was at the point where it took over the track, the focus needs to me more on the rapper.

I see what your saying about my cousin (c$p) but that was made in his bedroom so excuse the poor quality. every thing you saying about lyrics though ive told them my self.
dont get me wrong i could only dream about being able to do what they do but they come to me for advice cos i used to be a garage dj in the late 90 early noughties so they look up to me like im some kind of music expert. ive told them im not but i try to give them honest open advice and what youve said pretty much mirrors what ive told them.
i think they have listened but at the end of the day i have 4 cousins and my brother.
one plays for city u13's one for bolton youth and ones on newcastles reserves theres only them two that dont play football so it good to see them trying to channel their energy into something positive.

A lot of good grime coming out now.

this guy is insane.

I was fairly connected back in the day and lemme tell u Westwood is one of the nicest most humble people you'll ever meet.love the guy when he's off air so to speak.

Eminem is a complete sell out.check out his first album "infinite" and come back to me...he was on some great stuff back then like tribe style but sold out to do slim shady.

Can't beat the 90's hip hop..biggie,wu,nas,jay,public enemy etc.stuff out the last 10 years is record company ruined bland thrash.
