Seems like a pretty blatant stitch up, with her "confession" apparently being written after an 8 hour interrogation by someone who doesn't speak very good English. Seems as though they "investigated" her a lot more aggressively than they investigated the men involved, who they couldn't let go quick enough. There seems to be an awful lot of evidence suggesting she was raped that has been happily ignored and then just her dubious confession saying otherwise.
It's good that she's at least escaped and can come home and hopefully try and move past it, but it seems like justice won't be served. The whole thing stinks tbh, some suggestion that diplomatic relations between Cyprus and Israel being heavily involved as well doesn't sound exactly encouraging either
