4/10 given the money spent.

Soriano has done a great job in turning us into the powerhouse we now are financially. You can't fault him.

However, you can fault Txiki and his player recruitment. I'd say we still haven't made a top class signing since Aguero. Given the amount of money spent and our reputation these days I'd say that's pretty disgraceful.

This Summer's signings were massively overpriced and don't fit our style of play.

However they might do if pep changes it up next year.

Totally agree with this. Txiki gets an easy ride on here. He's wasted £££ millions and is instrumental in saddling us with an inferior but compliant Manager. Were it not for his association with one P Guardiala which we all hope and pray will materialise I'd be telling him to fuck right off if I was Khaldoon.

Bar Delph who is a solid squad member they're all exceptional players they just aren't performing under the instruction from our current (at times clueless) coach. The way it comes across to me is that Manuel gives the players a rough sense of how he wants them to play and puts little time in terms of focusing on exposing each opposition individual weaknesses/changing up tactics early when its not working.

Herein lies the issue.

Pretty obvious who came out on top with the Sterling deal especially when they have a young player in Jordan Ibe who basically replaced him out on the wing. At the moment he looks twice the player Sterling is but like everyone keeps saying apparently we've bought potential and not the finished article. I guess the wait will have to go on for now.

Is this the same Ibe who has played 32 league games for the dippers and not scored a single goal whilst being just 1 year younger than Sterling? Sterling meanwhile is our second highest goal scorer in the league and our highest champions league goal scorer. Yeah they sure came out on top in that deal.

All are good players who needs to play in their best positions (esp. Sterling and KDB) and find a formation and system that suits them. The problem mostly lies with the manager.
KDB has contributed to the most number of goals in our squad. If he is a bad buy, I don't know what to make of the rest of the team.

You see when you buy "potential" you actually have a ready-made excuse...

We spent more than 120 Million but didn't improve our Points/Game ratio.

I am ok with Otamendi & Delph, but not satisfy with Sterling & KDB because I expect them to be match winners like Yaya and Sergio.
