Rate our summer 2015 transfers out of 10

When we signed all these players we were all delighted! I still am to be honest. First five games we were awesome and were flying. Injuries to vinny, Sergio, Merlin and zabba else certainly put a lack of team consistency on the back burner but the wheels have fallen off with regards our performance levels and team togetherness it seems . Also can't decide if the players are tired from over training or unfit due to under training?!?

I'll let you know when they have an actual manager

I do think 100m on Sterling and KDB was a big mistake tho. Neither fit our style of play, we can only use one of them if we want to retain that style of play, a style built around players like Silva, Toure, Nasri. Should have signed Isco instead of one of them

We spent more than 120 Million but didn't improve our Points/Game ratio.

I am ok with Otamendi & Delph, but not satisfy with Sterling & KDB because I expect them to be match winners like Yaya and Sergio.

Both have won us matches. How about we wait until we get a manager with an actual brain before you write them off huh?

We are supposed to be an attacking, set up in the opposition's half, possession based team. Slow build up play, keep the ball, be patient, find the gaps.

Yet we bought three players who don't keep the ball well enough and don't particularly fit into that style of play at all in Delph, de Bruyne and Sterling.

Three decent players (maybe not Sterling yet but he might get there) but they look like they've been thrown in a transfer panic just because we couldn't get our first choices.

Talk about three players who couldn't be more suited to counter-attack play if you tried yet we hardly ever play on the counter.

Nothing particularly against them as individual players - well, I tell I lie because de Bruyne has been poor away from home and Sterling's first touch and passing can be dreadful - but they just aren't our kind of players.

If we've bought them, why don't we play some tactics to at least suit their style of play?

When we do have moments where we go on the counter-attack, take a good look at de Bruyne - he comes alive. Look at him when we're fucking about boring everyone to death with sideways passes and he looks like the fans in the stands - bored!

Pretty obvious who came out on top with the Sterling deal especially when they have a young player in Jordan Ibe who basically replaced him out on the wing. At the moment he looks twice the player Sterling is but like everyone keeps saying apparently we've bought potential and not the finished article. I guess the wait will have to go on for now.
Hahaha you absolute bulb.....

To be fair to the poster all I saw from Sterling last season was the odd good game here and there, then games where he was giving the ball away all the time, running the ball out of play and letting it in under his foot by not concentrating...Ibe has taken that over very easily at Liverpool.

How about the games where he terrorised defences, ran at the opposition, won penalties, started attacks? Do you remember when he tore us apart at Anfield and stood Joe Hart up? Joe Hart mentioned it himself, he absolutely did him like a kipper and made him look an amateur.

We need a manager to come in and coach these lads, show them how to play football. At the moment we don't have that.

What I will say re signings is that whilst I believe Otamendi could be an absolute rock for us under a manager, he must stop the girly behaviour. He gives off the image of a hard man but that'll quickly go down the shitty if he continues to hit the deck and roll around.
