Rate our summer 2015 transfers out of 10

First season is always a bad time to judge so I'll give a this season / potentai mark
Delph 6.5 / 8
Otamendi 7 / 7
De Bruyne 7 / 9
Sterling 7 / 9

A Sterling bashing thread dressed up as a transfers thread, very cunning, they'll never suspect a thing.

Delph has his limitations but he brings energy and aggression. The more he plays, the more he'll understand where to run and how to fit in with our game. Infinitely preferable to Fernado.

KDB has been a hit. Plenty of goals and plenty of assists and an unstinting workrate. For such a top class player his final ball often disapoints though. We need to try and give the lad a rest at some point.

Sterling has done pretty well fitting into a system that doesn't really utilize his strengths. At times he's looked a world beater, at times a novice. He's got the right atitude and he'll only get better.

I know it goes against the tide but for me Nico has the most convincing still to do. He flies into crunching tackles usually winning them and obviously the crowd love that. But his positional play needs work, he's too keen to win the ball and will desert his proper position to do so and he just isn't physically strong enough to be a top class centre half. He's been outmuscled on 3 or 4 occasions this season to cost us goals. His distribution, the last thing i look for in a defender but seemingly so important to City, also needs work. He gave the ball away 4 times with misplaced passes and headers before their 1st goal yesterday.

At this moment in time:

Otamendi - 5 - far too inconsistent and his stupid decisions are costing us goals. I can see him settling though and he does have great tackling ability.

KDB - 6.5 - a flat track bully for me, only does it at home against easier opposition but he's young enough and will only improve

Delph - 8 - giving him a high score purely because of what we'll get out of him for the bargain transfer fee

Sterling - 8 - electric when he's had a run of games, he'd start all the time for me and he's only going to get better

how you can rate Sterling above KDB is baffling.
