Rate Roberto Mancini

Glad we got Mancini rather than some of the other managers in the Premier.

I have never understood why there are so many Scottish managers (7) in our top league when the Scottish league is pretty much rubbish.

Danberger1982 No other title winners? What about balotelli at inter, dzeko at Wolfsburg, clichy at arsenal, Hargreaves at bayern and the rags, even bridge at Chelsea??

Overall I would give him 9/10 by city standards in my lifetime 12/10

toure at barca

He said Toure brothers... Balotelli, Clichy and Bridge weren't really vital first team players that helped their former clubs win the league.

I know what danberger1982 was getting at and it was pretty much spot on, once Bobby familiarizes himself with European football he'll be the completed article, he's only ever made it as far as the quarter finals as a manager so it shows soon for improvement there.... he's what? 47 years old? He has years ahead of him to be a great manager and me personally would love to see him emulate the likes of baconchops and wenger and remain here for years to come....

8 trophies in 10 years of management....

Hss made the signings that has enabled us to play some draw dropping football. Apart from maybe Barcelona I can't think of a more creative side.

First trophy in 35 years that made the the rags take down that fukin awfull banner.

Top of the prem at Christmas.

Yeah he is pretty shit, sack the bastard!!!!

9/10 for me. Only draw back is his European form which I think he will solve or at least vastly improve on in the next few years. As has been said, he has changed the whole mentality of the club-players and fans alike. He oozes class in interviews-no snarky bs and blaming anyone outside of the club for when something goes wrong. He puts in on his and his players shoulders. He doesn't suffer fools and will show them the door. I really can't think of another manager I would rather have.

9/10 if you need it via figures and yes i was once unsure at the start due to our defensive style of play !!
But anyone who knocks him is either too young to remember some of our past managers 80,s etc or has a bad memory.
These are great times for CITY fans enjoy it the mentality of this club has changed under Bobby into winners, and in interviews he is a class above others perhaps Fergie could learn how to admit he was beaten by a better team for once !!

Its the little things that make a great manager the changes he makes behind the scenes, we got a brief example of how clever the guy is with the mysterious advertising boards that appeared in front of the west stand last night.

We have got a top top manager in Mancini.

I'd give him an 8. His overtly defensive football was disgusting to watch at times and I don't know anyone who was enjoying it. One suspects someone influential at City had to have a word because he suddenly allowed the players to attack and thusly entertain. I'd have stopped paying £50+ for away tickets had we seen anymore tactical 0-0 draws at Tottenham or Arsenal. I want to see goals when I go to football.

There's obviously been the FA Cup win and City on top of the league but when you've got the biggest transfer budget in world football then you're generally going to have an easier time than top class Managers like Wenger or Villas-Boas. His record in Europe is still poor in comparison to his domestic record and I think the Premiership title is a reasonable expectation this season.
