I do. I even get an email the next day, although the answer to "did you notice the club doing anything different in order to affect the atmosphere?' is always a resounding NO

I think they think putting a load of club made flag wavers on the pitch, a giant club made banner on the centre circle, getting those daft flame pump things, having different coloured bins bags on our seats to hold up and blasting the music out at volume 99 helps create an atmosphere... it doesn’t!
Everything to do with banners and atmosphere should only ever be fan made and fan lead.

It needs drums and a group of ultras who enjoy the moment in order to create an atmosphere
So you go to matches to listen to ‘music’ rather than to watch the game & the incredible football our team is playing! :-)
Surely we can create atmosphere without that discordant row?

Agree. New PA system in the stadium shortly (might already be up, not sure) - but they really don't realise that pre match music and half time 'experts' are pointless and we don't want them

It's difficult to really get up for every game when the corporate nature of a football match is so evident.

The biggest issue here is that atmosphere means different things to the club and the majority on here , to the club it is creating a atmosphere of a family friendly environment which makes people want to return and spend money , to us it is what can recreate what we had at the Hamburg game , there view will never be the same as our, as ours was a ground full of old school mancs who paid a fiver to get in a game nobody else wanted to go to !
