Its not very often teams have good away records against the top 6, even champions. Usually a couple of wins is pretty good going.

Spurs for example have 1 away win in 3 seasons against the top 6 under Poch. That was against us when Clattrnburg gave that "handball" against Sterling last season.

What I would say though which I think is really important to your point...

If we secure one more point then it's the best top flight away record in the entire history of the club.
And that will be because we have some great attacking players who thrive when there is more space as there often is in away games. At home however - total shite because our slow lethargic build up play doesn't work when teams put 10 behind the ball.
We were great first 10 games when we were constantly "in the opposition faces as soon" as we lost the ball. Then Fernandinho did an interview that said he didn't think the team could keep up that tempo all season - and hey presto- immediately the pressing stopped (Celtic outdid us at it) and since then we have been Pelligrinis team all over again but with just better attacking options

Bravo and sane make 2 new additions mate. Plus he chose not to put nolito in the squad which would have been 3, 2 in outfield positions. I think he may have slept with Peps wife or something.
It's a weird one, he's clearly a really good player and there's been times this season where we really could've done with him.

6.5/10 from the playing point of view as we clearly need a deadwood clear out and additions to fit Pep's style.

For the stardard of match officials.

Some brilliant football but also some slow boring rubbish. Too many changes players don't seem to play as team or know what they're meant to be doing. We're becoming bottlers in the big games. Some bizarre selections and substitutions. Would Conte have gotten more out of this squad, definitely. So 5/10 for me.

talking just about the premier league here now, and part of the issue is that most of the other teams, apart from arsenal, have all improved upon last year.

if you look at last years table we won 19 games, lost 10, scored 71, conceeded 41 and ended up with 66 points. finished 4th.

with 6 games still too play, we already have won 19 games, lost only 6 so far, scored 63 and conceeded 35 and already have 64 points.

so we should improve on last years figures and hopefully final position.

so maybe its not all as bad as what some people make out? its not fantastic dont get me wrong, but hardly disastrous either. premier league wise.

5/10 for me, very disappointing, that said, it could have been so much better if a few decisions had gone our way and our finishing was up to standard.. I just want this season out of the way and see City come out all guns blazing next season, with some of the dead wood gone and new blood in who can deliver what is asked of them..

4//10. Took a day to think about it too. The minimum expected is champions league football next year, and getting that will bring it to a 5 for me.

I didn't expect to walk the league but what I did expect was to see a tandem of a vibrant new system with young players bedded in.

Instead we've been treated to last years players sugar coated with Sane and briefly Jesus.

The only plus points for me are the growth of Sterling & Stones, but we saw Stones cost us a bunch of games early on, so the cost short term was extremely high.

Then there's the keeper issue, I won't even start.

In hindsight it was also horrific management to allow United a free shot at the Capital One Cup, even though I gave Pep the benefit of the doubt at the time. Losing out in the EMIRATES Cup(because they own it, not the FA) makes that a stupid decision in hindsight.

But the damning thing for me has been the lack of even attempting to give youth a chance. Garcia and Maffeo looked great when played, but then relegated to limbo. Navas has played well, but he's off. Maffeo should have been retained and played, unless Pep wants rid of him next year.
