RAWK is an absolute farce

In fact, some of the posts about Aguero were embarrassing in their praise (and good to read).

Red dippers are easier to laugh at than the rags because they still have the arrogance of rags despite not winning a league title for over twenty years (twenty years of this year is our year - more comedy gold). The undertone of it all though is that they can't believe players of their quality are playing for City because they should be theirs by right. It's very funny in my book. Oh, and so they are when they're going on about money despite them only being where they are because of the Moores' money. They were also jumping about with glee when they thought they were getting taken over by the Chinese sovereign fund. Now, predictably, they've reverted to money has spoiled our game. How can you not laugh?

Some extremely positive reviews about Aguero here

What's the issue?

Various really.

1) The "Yes he looked good but how will he cope on a wet winter Monday night in Stoke" brigade.

2) The "Yes he looked good; what's he doing at a shitty little no-mark club with no history" brigade

3) The "Carroll/Suarez are much better" brigade.

4) The "He's only playing for them because we won't pay daft wages" brigade (ignoring the fact their wage bill in the last accounts was only £10m less than ours).

5) The "He should be playing for us because he's a lifelong Liverpool fan" brigade

6) The "Carroll's a better buy because over 5 years he'll cost us a lot less because we're paying him less" brigade.

Etc.

Apart from them (about 90% of RAWK) they're being very fair.

PMSL. Those are from their published accounts. David Conn does a summary every year, whcih is what I posted the link to. To be fair, about £8m of that involved pay-offs to Benitez and others so their actual ongoing staff costs were around £114m. But then our £133m probably included a decent pay-off to Hughes and his staff, as well as Robinho's salary, so the actual ongoing figures will actually be about the same I would imagine.

They do seem to have a problem with facts on RAWK.

• - Their wage bill isn't much less than ours according to published accounts but they don't think that's correct because they refuse to pay the silly wages we do.
  
  - We don't sell our ground out according to them yet published figures show higher crowds and utilisation than them.
  
  - We have no history yet we won the FA Cup, a European trophy & the League Cup long before they did.

You're spot on there, one of my mates and his dad are Liverpool ST hodlers in the Kop, and they're sound. I think they're clouding my judgment, because i stuipidly clicked the RAWK link, safe to say i didn't make it past 5 posts.

Proper cockwombles, fans like them deserve to see what football outside of Sky and CL is all about (if they can be arsed to turn up). Complete fuckwittery.
