I don't like some of his views and comments on City but that doesn't mean I would like the bloke to be seriously ill and possibly die.
There are very few people I would be happy to know are ill or have died...and I wouldn't class Ray Wilkins in that category.
Hope Ray recovers quickly for his family and friends.
 
Universally recognised as a decent man albeit with some dodgy views on football. So he would probably fit in well on here!

Hope he makes it.

Weird post.

It’s very easy to separate football and life. I don’t think he’s a great pundit and his repeateded drink driving is a disgrace but I wouldn’t wish illness on anyone and I hope he pulls through and makes a full recovery.
 
Hope he pulls through. I like him, for me as a pundit he comes across as balanced and knowledgeable. But clearly that is irrelevant at the moment. Fingers crossed he gets through this.
 
I remember in the early 90s city were linked with a serie A player called i think Pascuale Bruno. I remember watching football Italia and James Richardson asking Ray if he should sign for city and he said he should as city were one of the countries biggest clubs. I've always remembered and liked him for that. Get well soon Ray.
 
He's a straight enough bloke, calls things as he sees them and is passionate about the game. He has made mistakes in life and done some things he shouldn't, definitely.
At this time though, we should be hoping that he pulls through and send our good wishes to his family.
