Who are your preferred choices?
 
I would have loved Kerkez but he’s obviously scouse bound. Think Ait-Nouri offers more going forward which probably suits our needs a bit better now too. He would give us an attacking creative threat from full back that we haven’t had since Cancelo and imo Haaland would hugely benefit from it.

Ye was 19 when he came over. Signing nouri and reijnders tells us that we are moving on another foreign player beyond kdb and if pep decides to keep reis and echeverri then even more have to be moved. So potentially big changes coming.

He's better than what we have, think he's a level below Kerkez and while he younger I think Robinson is better suited to what we need

It's gonna be easier to convert a LWB into a LB than it was to convert a midfielder in Nunes to a right back, same with NOR.

Ait-Nouri is a better player than Milos Kerkez.
 
This guy seems to have good pace, puts good tackles in and isn't afraid to push forward and come inside at times too.

Seems like a perfect Pep player...

If we are keeping Echeverri and Reis, plus bringing in 2 maybe 3 non homegrown Reijnders, and 2 full back plus Gibbs White,and getting the main squad not including club trained U 21s down to 20/21,then probably at least 5 or 6 need to go. I’d guess 5 or 6 from this group most likely. Plus McAtee, Walker Phillips. Which ones we can move other than KDB ,not a clue.

Hato at Ajax already has 9,000 minutes of first-team football and has only just turned 19. That’s Gvardiol level of development and he’d cost considerably less than Ait-Nouri.

I agree, but not my decision. I can’t see Pep getting rid, or them moving. Either teams will be put off by their injury history, their wages, or they won’t want to move to a lesser team.

They may play a similar position. But once you check their attributes, you'd see they play it differently.

Nouri is far more like the prototype.

One of Gundo, Kova and Bernardo have too go.

Contract wise, Beenie and Gundo are probably easier with both having 1 year left.Kova is the best of the 3 but also the least healthy. Beenie the healthiest and Gundo the oldest.

My instinct is to keep Kova and one of the other 2.

Grealish, Stones, Ake, KDB and then one of Bernie/ Gundo and potentially Eddie.

Ideal world for me but unlikely is move on ake and stones and sign 2 left backs and 2 right backs as 1st choice and back up.
No need to be moving players out of position to fill gaps in the team.
