How did he end up with nine assists this season?

Paul Pogba used to also get an insane amount of “fantasy football assists” too. Nunes is way below our level, he isn’t the only one, I was making the point he can’t be used as a wing back because he isn’t a good passer or crosser of the ball. Show me 9 unbelievable crosses or passes from this season, I’ll wait.

99% of the time it’s literally end of move or pass backwards on that right hand side when it goes out to him. Even Walker offered more of an attacking threat.

Think he's really good going forward but defensively a little suspect. I think he's perfect for a wingback signing but if we are insisting on 4 at the back again next season, maybe there are better options.

I always wonder with City if 3-5-2 would be ideal going forward. Ait Nouri on the left, Nunes (or this Wesley we are linked to) on the right putting in crosses for Erling. At least it would mean cutting our wasteful wingers. Think it's worth a try in pre season.
He’s no.1 when it comes to tackling dribblers in the league. He locked down Salah. Isn’t slow. Has 4 years of experience in the league. Still 23. Who’s to say that he’s an 8/10 attacking wise and only a 6/10 defending wise he can improve and balance it out with time and coaching. Nobody is the finished article not sure what options are there.

He's a wing back isn't he? He's not particularly impressed in a back 4 and is quite suspect defensively

However, he is a left sided defender and prem experienced, with good quality, and a good age too

He's better than what we have, think he's a level below Kerkez and while he younger I think Robinson is better suited to what we need
Plays in a back 4 for Algeria and hardly looked bad

I really like this signing!

Sign him and Robinson (homegrown!) for left back, then keep O Reilly as an 8, then we probably dont need MGW.

For RB get Vanderson.

Thats 3 really good attacking fullbacks.
love Vanderson but Robinson is American

In that Algerian team he tears opponents for fun.

When I saw him lock down Salah, I started to notice how perceptive he is at reading the body movements of his opponent. I think being such a good dribbler himself gives him an edge — he kind of knows what you’re likely to do next, anticipates it, and shuts it down before it happens. That’s his superpower. He may not be world-class defensively, but he’s solid — and when going forward, he’s an absolute joy to watch.

Vanderson is one of my favourite players, it is such a shame we are not linked.
Robinson was born in England and went to live in the U.S. Now he is American but given the fact he has been here for so long, I thought he was HG, did he not get here in his teens to play?

My favourite thing about Vanderson besides his pace is that he’s a reactive defender. Not a passive one like Theo.H or Cancelo. I think Nouri has that trait too but I haven’t watched him alot. I swear we’re linked to every good player under the sun.
As usual you’re absolutely right he is homegrown. We need 1 HG signing. Not sure who tbh. I rate Vanderson more than Livra. Same age. Could get Trafford or Aina if you’re desperate for a homegrown player.

Ait-nouri >>>>>>>kerkez. I have been harping on this forever. A more complete player, only injuries a big concern.
