Are you payingI was hoping around 35 million pounds myself. Aa someone who doesn't rate fullbacks, i hate these high prices. But weren't we pondering 67 million for Cambiasso in January?
That felt like a potential highway robbery. But let's see what it ends up being.
As long as we win I couldn't give two......Possible squad: 2 Ryans, 2 Nicos, 2 Peps………

The population was 'other full-backs and wing-backs in Europe's top five leagues this season'.But I still don't get it. Out of 100 players in what? Your league? Your position? The world?
50m does seem high since he has one more season left on his contract from what I've heard. I'd do it for 40m, but 50m isn't worth it. At that point, might as well get Aina on a free this summer for right back and go all in on Livramento for left back. If RAN doesn't sign a new deal, then we go get him for free next summer. AFCON this winter as well so Aina and Livramento isn't a bad contingency plan with both of them being homegrown as well.I was hoping around 35 million pounds myself. Ahhh that makes sense then. I'm open to just giving them the 50m if we can't haggle that down.Wolves +1 and a 50% sell on deal to cover.

Wolves can activate that sell-on clause buyout for around £8.5M–£9M, and you can bet they’re working overtime to sort it out. Much smarter and obvious just to pay that flat fee now than hand over 50% of the transfer fee they'll be getting from us.Wolves +1 and a 50% sell on deal to cover.
yeah most likely. Dont see anything being a major issue. They hold an interest in McAtee as well but doubt they do this all in one. Very accurate with his crossing. Managed to hit the first defender every time. Can't have been a flukeNavas is a real mystery. He was bloody good his first season. Getting past his man regularly, and when he wasn't, putting fizzing balls over that often got to Beast (and others in the box). Fell off a cliff in his second season and from then on. Seemed to lose a yard of pace, (and for a winger who is not a dribbler, that's a lot).
Otherwise, I agree with everyone on his list, and the categories they're assigned to. Only one slight problem: Nunes is improving all the time. He's made a much better fist of his position since the turn of the year (approximately). I don't really think he's a class right back, and I don't think he ever will be. You've only got to think of Walker in his good years.
But decent squad player now, if he's happy with that.
Agreed on not making Livramento the full time left back. I'm just thinking of using him at left back as a stopgap this coming season if we wait til next summer for Ait Nouri and can't find another suitable left back. To your point it's not worth wasting Livramento on the left and we'd probably be better off just paying the money for Ait Nouri now so we don't have to play Livramento on the left so much.Wolves have the option in his contract to extend for another year, so in reality he’s got two years left.
And Livramento is primarily a Right Back.
Whilst he’s demonstrated he could undoubtedly cover at Left Back, and do an excellent job there - it wouldn’t make a lot of sense to buy him specifically to play on the left.
