He's a little like Phil Foden but he's a right little **** on top of that aswell. I think he's going to be a fan favourite.

Is this the first time Pep has wholesale rebuilt or transitioned his own team? I don't think he's been at another club long enough to do that?
 
I want to see how he fits in with Marmoush and Haaland. I wasn't sure how Marmoush was going to link up with the City midfield and with Haaland because he hadn't really done so in 2025. Now we have a 3rd player to put into the mix.

Fun times back again at Manchester City. Pep is going to love this. And so are the fans.

There seems to be an awful lot of hype around Cherki that simply isn't matched by his price tag. You never know for certain how young players will turn out of course, but it strikes me that somebody as good as the media hype suggests should cost a lot more than £30m.

I don’t know how he’s cost us £1.5m less than whinger’s little brother.
I do think however, we shouldn’t put expectations of him being the best player the club will ever see. He’ll be brilliant, but too much pressure could shatter him, just like any young player. He’ll be a world-beater soon if we don’t expect him to be one of the best in the world now.

There is a very rare and special excitement about the signing of Cherki and it's having an immediate effect. Opposition fans are already panicking and fearful of what he might do to them next season haha!!!
