Trincao looks quite a similar player if this falls through. Although I've only seen them on YouTube.

I hate the obsession with road runners. Go get Gallagher if that’s what you want a midfielder to do. I want mine to create and play the beautiful game.
You can hate it as much as you like, but you want to win the big pots, the boys gotta run and run and run.

Want to watch some nice tricks, compete in and around the top 7, go out in the earlier stages of CL, then fair enough, these players will give you some good moments. No moaning though

Cherki runs 10.07 kilometers per game not 8.34 idk where you're getting your stats from

I seen it on footballcritic.com

Has his distance covered in lots of games.

I dont think me concerned about his work rate and durability is unusual , its a criticism that's followed him since he came on the scene.

Top teams can't have the luxury of one or the other, all hands to the pump, everyone busts a gut, doesn't matter who you are . Lets hope he finds it from somewhere.

"Already, in everyday life, Rayan is special and different; he has imagination. That's why, on the pitch, he imagines and sees a lot of things. He is clearly of the same calibre as all the best playmakers I've played with," Lacazette told L'Equipe.

This is what we need. Our new Ali B. The X factor you can't teach is creating goals consistently that others wouldn't see (or be able to deliver).

Two-footed just like KDB. I think Haaland might enjoy the link up.

Can anyone find the numbers Kev, Grealish and David Silva laid down without the ball when they were the main men at Wolfsburg, Villa and Valencia?

I am not worried abot this at all. He either adapts, ends up so good creatively based on his talent that his work-rate is something we work around or he ends up a punt that didn't quite work out, but were well worth it.

I do think it is slighly exagerrated though how good your work-rate has to be in a team like ours. People think that because our press has been so good at our best it is a necessary attribute to have over-average work-rate.

When we play like Pep wants we have so much possesion that the amount of time spent trying to recover is so miniscule in the long term that having a midfield and forward line full of bonafide runners ain't necessary at all. A lot of these great managers and great teams gets their superstars to run more than you expect precisely because they actually dont have to run that much. But they get drilled into knowing when they have to

For example, people talk about Sergio post-Pep as this pressing machine compared to Sergio pre-Pep. But the truth is he only really ran when he had to, and was greatly aided by a well-coached positional press. As was De Bruyne and Haaland after him. As will Cherki if Pep gets his balance right
