If the rumours are true, much in the same way Wirtz only wants Liverpool, Cherki only wants us and Pep, so I’m sure the club will get it done and at a decent price too.

This is already shaping up to be the start of a very successful window and just brings enthusiasm for the season ahead.

I hope you're right pal. Next season we should see fast pace slick passing footy with an end product in the final third.

I'm salivating at the thought of watching Cherki, Reijnders Ait-Nouri linking up with Haaland Rodri Marmoush Foden Doku Bobb Echeverri and the rest of the team. We'll field a team full of versatile quality with a quality bench waiting to come on. Liverpool should be worried, Arsenal too.

The CWC should be a tasty appetiser for what will hopefully transpire to happen next season.

It's done, he is coming to us. I have a feeling that he will strive for us, the low price tag will help him alot. No pressure and no one is expecting him to replace kdb. The perfect place for him.

genuine question, what is it that you think gives liverpool more pulling power than us? Their istree or the media?

So they paid top whack and more for players, im not sure those three demonstrate that they have bigger pulling power, the media may so but its not the reality, yeah lpool are a big club but apart from cos the media says so they are no more special than any other club.

Van dijk they paid all the money and he moved from southampton, kerkez is moving for all the money and from bournemouth, wirtz is moving for a british record fee to them and becoming the second highest player at the club, all these players didnt come for the love of the dippers and they all dont play for a tenner a week and a signed michael owen shirt either.

Funny how it all works out. Was reading some posts on the socials yesterday about how Mbuemo is rejecting CL football with Newcastle and Arsenal in favour of United - and it’s all down to money.

Tables turned years ago, but it always brings a smile to my face seeing reports like that.
