RB Leipzig (A) | Post Match Thread

What a team that's taken Munich to the wire twice in recent years beat Madrid in the group stages this year .
Don't believe bookies odds as there always stacked with the big boys .
These are a top team .
As stated a underestimated good result .
Good result - fucking diabolical performance. Not because we didn't win, but because we don't look like we're interested in winning - or interested in our fans being happy - or interested in our No.9 being happy.

And?
Have you seriously thought about putting money on them?
Thought not
If we went gungho we would of been a lot worse position than we currently are. We are onto our third away game and have two more to come. We can't go flat out in every single game.

Losing faith this quickly after all of that and it being obvious we’re going to do some squad refresh in the summer, I just can’t comprehend that. I hope people realise how high our expectations are and how much of that is down to him and what he’s given us. I guarantee if they don’t, they’ll realise it when he does eventually go.
I don't think you (or anyone) can guarantee anything in football mate.

Pep's brand of football can be fantastic but it can also be sideways and backward bland and turgid, like the last 2 games with hardly any goal threat against much weaker opposition.

Just got home didn't even watch the match just got pissed in some random bar in bolton how did we do?

That's a fair point. They weren't anything to worry about in the first half - it would be nice if we sensed that and went for the proverbial jugular.
Second leg will be better. We have beaten them 6-3 last season without Haaland.

Fixed.
