I agree with the first part of your post but Rodri is not known for having a temper. After the abject display against Wolves a draw would be OK.

true, but given the state of the squad, players out injured/just returning back, a draw away against a team in good form would be fine.

This is at least a game we can afford to lose and still probably get through - we can pick up twelve points from twelve against the other two sides. Walker will be needed on Sunday and you just know Southgate will start him twice in the next fortnight, so who knows when his next chance for a break will be?

Whoever plays out of Ake and Gvardiol is less likely to play on Sunday.

Ake pocketed Saka last season, so I suspect Ake will get the nod at the weekend, although he didn’t do well against Neto last weekend.

Therefore, I reckon Gvardiol will play tonight. (But it is a guess)
