Surprising that this isn't unanimous.

Wish that Pep knew that Haaland was on the verge of breaking the single-game scoring record for a C/L game and didn't sub him.

At any rate - I'm not sure what changed - but suddenly Haaland got lots of touches and buried many of them.

If we get the ball into Haaland with any sort of frequency - this is what's going to occur.

As a side note - what do you think of Haaland as penalty taker? IMO he's the best we've ever had - including Balotelli.

I think Yaya might have something to say about that.

Gave it to Haaland, but Kev was the best footballer on the pitch.
Pep was my real MoM, selecting four CBs for a bit of a result.
John Stones as an inverted FB was superb. Where does Pep get these ideas from? Genius.

KDB was great ... his goal was worthy of winning a Champions League final ... and he arguably assisted Haaland via the crossbar.

But hard not to give it to someone who scores 5 in 35 mins & is disappointed at the end that his finishing let him down & he didn't get more.

I think thats the first time all season we have delivered consistently over 90 minutes and hopefully that will now continue as we move into the final stretch with three trophies possible. I thought everyone was superb on Tuesday, not a weak link, and I was particularly pleased that when we changed half the team around our tempo and control hardly dropped.Thats in stark contrast when multiple subs have been made in previous games. Those that were 'most brilliant' were:
Haaland
Kev
Bernie
Jack
Rodri
John Boy

Bloody hell it shows what confidence can do. Jack is unrecognisable from the peripheral figure of last season. He was bloody brilliant again with his ball carrying.

Anyway, It has to be H but Kev only a whisker behind.
