Doku was slipping all over the shop and the players seemed to be over compensating their passes!

Noticed that a few times. The Gomez shot at the end seemed to bobble a bit before he hit it as well.

Nice to see the subs change the match for us, but regardless of how good we were going forward in the second half, we really do have a problem at the back and we won’t win anything defending like that.

It’s probably a mixture of individuals playing poorly and Rodri being isolated in midfield, but it needs to be sorted out, and quickly. Not sure whether we need to buy another centre half or not, but we look far less settled squad-wise than seemed likely a couple of months ago with regards to the defence.

Also wondering whether we could do with buying a right-winger. Foden looks better in the middle, Bernado is wasted out there and Doku looks nailed-on for the left hand side now.

Our defending is a proper concern of late, every team we're facing are creating several good chances and it shows against better quality opposition. I can see shitloads of goals next Sunday, wouldn't be surprised if it was 5-3 City
