Should we really have been so disrespectful? 1-0 surely was sufficient.

Leipzig were a good team. In the first leg they were better than us in the second half.

Today, we looked frail at the back and Leipzig were extremely good at not getting contained and putting on the high press. But KDB, Haaland and the Ref took it to another level.
 
Had a hairy journey home as I drop my mate off in South Wakefield before heading up to leeds. The sat nav took us over the glossop to penis tone road which was mental. Anyway added an hour on. But what a night. Amazing football. Haaland is just silly now. KDB was class. Grealish worked hard. Amazing
 
I must confess that I also left on 80 minutes - from moving firewood from the front of the house to the shed in the back garden. Then I sat on a stool and listened to the end of the game on the City App. Had to elbow my wife from in front of the computer for the after-match review on the OS.
(I had been ducking into the house to catch the score throughout the game though).
 
A brilliant display from the start set the tone.

I thought everyone stepped up and played well and apart from a ridiculous decision for the penalty and a mad couple of minutes when we got sloppy, no one could disagree that we thoroughly deserved that and blew them away.

If we play with that energy, pace and intensity in every game from now on, then it could be a very special end to the season.
