RB Leipzig (H) | Post Match Thread

This guy really went to bed, got up, went to work, sat at his desk, and decided he was going to write a whole essay about another football team who just smashed someone with nothing to do with their own club. One of the saddest things I've ever seen.

Say what will you about Liverpool fans, but at least they kept their fucking own bollocks to their own forums.
And some say this c*** is welcome because he's a regular... Fucking weird is what he is

(I meant the Tarquin @GunnerV , Not @Brightwell Bros. BTW ;-) )

Goals change the course of games, and when the first two goals are dubious, it's going to affect how the rest of the match plays out. If Leipzig could've kept a clean sheet until the break and Ederson had been shown the red card, who knows what might have happened.

Let me make this clear: City are a WAY better team. They are going to win this fixture 99 out 100 times, especially at the Etihad. But they shouldn't have received those favors from the referee. Leipzig were denied any real shot at this game because of him.

We saw how Milan and Inter went through by digging in and playing ultra defensively (albeit against worse teams). Had a similar referee been in charge of their games, they wouldn't have had a chance.
Such refereeing performances bring the game into a state of disrepute. I don't think it's in City's best interest to win like this either.

In short: Congrats on your advancement. Massive performance. But I don't want to hear you guys ever complain about refs again.
He's like the clap this fucking guy....

Fucking hell, I swear all I see on the internet is arsenal fans whining about refs. This game didn't even affect you!

You guys would have more credibility if you stuck to complaining about actual bad decisions (i.e. the penalty) and stopped exaggerating about others. The Ederson tackle was obviously not a red card, and claiming otherwise means anything else you say can't be taken seriously

What is this about? The penalty was soft but them’s the rules in UEFA competition. Var spotted it and the ref agreed. City have been on the other side of numerous similar decisions in Europe, 2 in one game once. Nothing wrong with the second goal, some may have thought the goal keeper was fouled after he cleared the ball (the ref or var didn’t) and it didn’t contribute to the goal anyway. Why should Ederson has been shown a red? It’s not an offence to charge out of your goal. His challenge may have been rash and possibly ’reckless’ - a yellow card (look it up) but it was not dangerous, didn’t endanger an opponent and wasn’t violent conduct. Perhaps you are new to football or one of the Sky/ BT armchair brigade, who form your opinions and then spout bollox on the say so of some sensation seeking commentator or ignorant, agenda loaded, pundit.

Hahaha what the actual fuck are you talking about you bad melt

Well that was excellent and tonight, all things being well, we see the dippers get dumped out.

And to think I use to cheer on English sides over Johnny foreigners, Northern sides over southern sides. and north west sides over north east.

Now of course I rather cut off my knob with a plastic knife than support most other clubs. Especially the shithouse nine.
