reading tickets selling fast {merged}

I personally blame the ticket prices for the hamburg game on a lot of our selling cup ticket problems.
People seem to think because the club as done it at a fiver once it will keep doing it and that ain't gonna happen, the amount of times i have heard other blues say they should do it at them prices is ridiculous.
I also think the amount of home games in a short space of time has a bearing to.

We joined the cup scheme as a we

1. Do not want to miss a game

2. Remain seated together

Our seats being in EL3 we were moved to North Stand 1 and not seated together.

We had the inconvenience of going to the ticket office to have seats together in Level 2.

Whilst wanting a bigger crowd to cheer us on hopefully to Wembley I will be pissed off if level 3 is opened and tickets sold to any seasoncard holder from Level 1 or Level 2 who could not be bothered to purchase tickets for previous rounds or until now for this game.

Hope if we do get to Wembley the club change the criteria for purchasing tickets and allow seasoncard attendees at previous rounds first choice of tickets over seasoncard non attendees.
I am normally in the South Stand and move for most Cup games. I like the experience of sitting in different parts of the ground. Don't really get the attachment to your seats, in the end as long as you have a good view, and you are together with your friends, then that's all that matters. However, I suppose if you have prime seats, and end up sitting in the rain and dont like the view from ground level, you might be unhappy! I puposefully gambled on Row B in Tier 1 on the halfway line as I want to get as close as possible. It's worth seeing the players close up every now and again. Against Villa I had this view, and you could see that Lescott and Kompany were even bigger and more powerful than Heskey. That view is something you miss when you are in Level 2 and 3. You see the pattern of play much better, and don't get a heart-attack everytime the ball goes in our penalty area, but there are positives.

The conclusion of this will be.

City's top brass, heads of departments, etc, will have another meeting.(regarding this) On top of all the other meetings that have happened because of BM.

BTW. Did anyone notice that the half-time presenter-fan chat(tell me the score) has been ditched after we complained about the Fulham farce?

People have just got to realise that for many, financially it is getting harder and harder and choices have to be made unfortunately.

Work or lack of it, travel, mid week kick off's, TV etc, not everyone can or will make it.

Those that make it, great and those that don't, im certainly not going to sit here and judge you for it, im sure you have your reasons.

Our support has always been there and a few low crowds in cup competitions that see the same decline in crowds for virtually every other club wont change my mind on it.

Could not agree more
we only have ourselves to blame blues
Cup crowds have always been poor. They are on previous years and we have so much more football, and live TV to cope with

City have a very loyal following, but it's not as big a base as United and Liverpool, and not as wealthy as the London clubs, cos a lot of City fans are from the North West

I remember in seasons gone by we have always had poor League, FA and even UEFA Cup attendances......"poor" in comparison to our League crowds which are top 4 despite no trophies in 35 years.

Ive been trying to buy tickets online for 2 days now.
Because i havn`t used this service for ages,i therefore cant remember my login password.
no problem ,city will send me a e-mail reminder.
But ive changed my email address,
no problem i will ring custumer service to update it.
After two 20mins sessions waiting in a queue,i eventually speak to someone.
Tell the girl my new e-mail address TWICE,ive still havn`t recieved
any fucking email of city .
Feel like fucking it right off,but my 2 kids are right up for it.
Have you trie e-mailing tickets@mcfc.co.uk or general enquiries mcfc@mcfc.co.uk? Worth a go.

I reckon if you rang 0870 0621894 (office hours) and select the Customer Services Option they'd let you book over the phone without paying a fee, but I can imagine you'd be hanging on the line for some while.

Could you create a new supporter log-in by registering online again? Perhaps under your children's name? Have to beware of time in issuing paper tickets as it's now Tuesday

Sounds frustrating. All in all I think I'd try tinging supporter services tomorrow morning
Marvin thanks for your help.
I did email on Monday and i recieved a standard reply email, telling to ring custumer services.I think i might go down registering under one of my kids name.
cheers ...

I`m just So grateful that my best mate bought mine for me and I have been chipping away at paying him back all season, this successful run in cups is costing me/him a small fortune. Long may it reign. I hope I owe him a fortune by the end of the year. Gonna pick and choose next season but right now the way its panning out ,I`d have it no other way. City for the Cup.
