reading tickets selling fast {merged}

Let's just get a few priorities sorted:

1 My seat in CBL3 come hell, high water or the Ashton Canal inundatin' Sport City is mine an' for me!

2 City winnin' summat.

3 - ∞ MANUre gettin' relegated.

Nothin' in the history of MCFC, the relegations, Dave Ewing's own goals, the wilderness decades, will come as low as openin' up CBL3 after I have bought me ticket an' 'ave to sit with the deaf mutes on CBL2 and some johnny-come-lately sittin' in me season ticket seat. Just WhoTF is the CupDirectScheme for?

An' if me Balo 'at dunt fit when it comes, Jeez, where's me tazer!

Appreciate your comments and we are not averse to sitting in different parts of the stadium, we have tried every stand and now have our preferred seats for our old age.

I still sometimes take my grandchildren in the family stand.

The point I was trying to make is that we will be annoyed that we have been moved if the could not be arsed support in previous rounds can now be arsed and we have had inconvenience due to them and hope the club value the supporters from earlier rounds more than those wishing to attend now, and reward the all game attendees before the 'we are close to a final' brigade.

I say this on behalf of those whom have attended with few loyalty points, we ourselves have over 5000 so obtaining tickets for a final will not be an issue, but then again knowing our club

We joined the cup scheme as a we

1. Do not want to miss a game

2. Remain seated together

Our seats being in EL3 we were moved to North Stand 1 and not seated together.

We had the inconvenience of going to the ticket office to have seats together in Level 2.

Whilst wanting a bigger crowd to cheer us on hopefully to Wembley I will be pissed off if level 3 is opened and tickets sold to any seasoncard holder from Level 1 or Level 2 who could not be bothered to purchase tickets for previous rounds or until now for this game.

Hope if we do get to Wembley the club change the criteria for purchasing tickets and allow seasoncard attendees at previous rounds first choice of tickets over seasoncard non attendees.
I am normally in the South Stand and move for most Cup games. I like the experience of sitting in different parts of the ground. Don't really get the attachment to your seats, in the end as long as you have a good view, and you are together with your friends, then that's all that matters. However, I suppose if you have prime seats, and end up sitting in the rain and dont like the view from ground level, you might be unhappy! I puposefully gambled on Row B in Tier 1 on the halfway line as I want to get as close as possible. It's worth seeing the players close up every now and again. Against Villa I had this view, and you could see that Lescott and Kompany were even bigger and more powerful than Heskey. That view is something you miss when you are in Level 2 and 3. You see the pattern of play much better, and don't get a heart-attack everytime the ball goes in our penalty area, but there are positives.

Amen Brother, though on the East side for me! ;-)

(Thank fuck I'm not the only Level 3-er who's ordered a Balo hat!)

Breaking news all tickets are sold we are not opening tier 3 to teach all you stay at home fans in the previous rounds a lesson!

Open the 3rd tier!!!!!
nah keep it shut

then just the loyal fans will be in the ground on Sunday

i also heard earlier that if City get to the semi-final the main ticket criteria will be the ones who went on Sunday having first dibs as there's approximately 34,000 of them there and that'll leave 2000 for corporate and none for the Supporters Club out of our 36000 allocation

if we actually had a decent fan base all this brinkmanship wouldn't be necessary.

we have the best side for decades and the cup crowds this season have been nothing short of a disgrace.

if the club close part of the ground due to a poor sales history who the fuck can blame them.

Could not agree more

You Guys are saying this as if the Cup crowds have only recently been low. They were only 25000-ish during the last Europa jaunt.

Hamburg took an extreme tactic to sell out. The others were nowhere near.

But the point remains.

Why close the 3rd tiers?

FA Cup quarter final, cheap tickets, Sunday = big crowd.

I don't see any logic at all in the way City are handling this.

It's getting byond a joke now. Tuesday and the 3rd tiers still aren't open.
