Just moved back from level 1 South to usual seats in 305.

Level 1 cost £15 and the girl on the phone says she owes me a £2.50 refund per ticket to move back to level 3 which are £17.50.

Confused.!!

As long as we get in!!

So we started in East Level 3 which was closed, were moved to North 1, got it changed to South 1, got moved back to East 3once it was re-opened and have since had 2 texts , first saying we are back in South 1 and next saying we are now in East 2 - no clue as to how many times debited/refunded or whether we have the loyalty points nor where we are supposed to be sitting or even if the cards will work!!!

Just to clarify I have today spoken to Lisa the service and fulfilment manager who is attempting to sort out the problems caused by this.

Multiple texts is the problem - specifically people seem to have received their seat details by text more than once but this was then exacerbated by sending out a second confirmation for the Kiev game but with the text quoting Reading rather than Kiev.

They assure me that loyalty points and payments haven't been affected ie you get your points (once) and you only pay once - they are sending e-mails or letters out to everyone to finally confirm exactly which seat you all have for the Reading and Kiev games so that we hopefully don't have lots of people milling about trying to get into the wrong part of the ground and showing texts with the worng details on!

Hopefully all will then be ok.

Its not so much the strategy that has pissed so many off, I am sure theres people who would moan regardless, but comparing a mid week game in a run of 5 consecutive home games and a sunday QF with a long awaited trip to wembley at stake is a bit naive on the clubs part, but with all the relocations it just compounded the shit website being down again and the already understaffed largely incompetent ticket office to make what should be a simple task of getting tickets for a game that proably wont sell out a real ball ache for those who want to go.
In the end I went for the £25 hospitality option as I couldn't get through to the ticket office, saved myself £10 in booking fees as well.
The lady I spoke to in Hospitallity sales was top notch as well.

Is this all part of the "masterplan" too? Just to increase the telephone wait times to record levels?

I wondered what the hell was going on with the texts from City, they've confirmed my Reading ticket purchase 3 times now yet not confirmed my Kiev ticket!

it'll be carnage if the incompetents have to shift 30odd thousand Wembley tickets

I can just see queues snaking several times round the ground with just 2 windows open in the ticket office and the phone and website crashing as they fail to cope with the demand?

Earning a crust, relocating a seat and holding up the Fifth Column all at once.

That's juggling, pal, not multitasking ;-)
Don't forget General Secretary of the cabal as well.

At this year's AGM I'm going to put forward a motion to change our name to "The Fifth Column".
