Real Dilemma

OK.

This is not an April fools prank and I will not be saying it is at 12 o'clock

This is something I was told by a very safe person and is possibly 75% info and 25% speculation.

I am also breaking a promise to myself not to post information on these boards after the Manford debacle (and for anyone who doubts how pissed off I was about that then it is worthy of another thread at some point) and my fragile attitude towards posting is linked to that so take this however you want.

Manchester City have technically SACKED Jose Mourinho.

They have ripped up an agreement to bring him to City in the summer due to his deliberate attempts to get a job in Spain and his behaviour in the press recently.

Where that info goes from there is anyone's guess.

Good as I can't stand his haircut...Besides I've only just learnt how to do my Mancini scarf.

See, I told you there would be those in denial didnt I.

Seems people might have missed the fact that City have SACKED him - so unless something changes he aint coming.

Keep fishing mate ;)

OK, I give up.

I really do wonder why any of us bother!

Im off for a nice brunch with the missus and a walk on the beach afterwards.

Okay so let's pretend this is true (I'm not doubting you, more your source).

You'd have to feel sorry for JM as all he's been doing is letting the fans down slowly in his own very diplomatic way. If true this will look bad on us when the press manipulate it.

Anyway I'm quite willing for Bobby to take us forward in the summer with one or two or several of his players.

But he's already bought a house in Alderley Edge and enrolled his kids into school and Mancini is going to Inter in a straight swap, does that mean we have sacked Frank Lampard as well.

I believe Man Ure are just about to sack Moyes for being a goggley eyed t@*t.

Jason manford is hilarious end of

Jason Manford is a decent bloke, he did an event for the Ambulance Service recently for free. NO PRESS involvement, just gave up his night and had time for anyone who wanted to chat at the end (not just City related).

Very nice man. Quite tall as well.

So let me get this straight...

We've sacked a manager who we've not yet actually appointed... the manager, who signed the deal to come to City, is actually wanting the job at Madrid.... beggaring the question as to why he signed the contract to come to City in the first place... and the club have cancelled the contract because of Mourinho's outpourings about getting the job at Madrid... in spite of these outpourings going back at least 12 months...

Yep. All makes perfect sense.

Soulboy, think you might be splitting hairs, although can see the need for clarification.

A verbal agreement is all is takes, would actually support info from other sources in terms of an agreement of some sorts actually being in place?

Not so sure, we have sacked it off, though. We have gone down this road before, though.

A definite verbal agreement was in place with Kaka and his father, we pulled the plug due to outside shenanigans.

So what you're saying is that we can sack someone with whom we have a verbal agreement with in the future! And the reason for scrapping the contract is due to reasons that have been known for over 12 months already?

That's not splitting hairs... that's an axe down the middle of the forehead!

Or are we just being prepared for the inevitable "Mourinho isn't coming here after all"... which is what I've believed since the rumours first started up.

So much for it all being a done deal then...

That's what I thought.

But the OP INSISTS it's not.

Maybe I'm too gullible!

He's a twat if it is a wind up, though! Gulp.
