Very unfortunate with the deflections for their goals.
Didn’t create enough in the first half but much better in the second half.
City are the better team but Madrid are very dangerous and Ancelotti is a canny coach.
Pleased we are not behind going into the home leg.

Would have taken that at 2-1. Much better second half. Couldn’t believe how much we gave the ball away in the first. Jammy buggers with their two deflections and they are a right sneaky conniving bunch of tossers. Even Bellingham seems to have got the memo when playing for them.
Stones Bernie Jack gvardiol phil Ruben and akanji all really good. Great goals from us, yeah ok their third was good. Kovacic lost his man though. Not sure the Rodri kovacic combo worked as we were too open still especially down the wings. Need Walker back for the next leg.
One thing to highlight, ref was extremely good tonight.
Onto what is now a one off game at home. That will do. Come on City!
