Rodders ongoing record incredible.
YawnMy biggest take away is that Kovacic is not the answer to any of our midfield issues in games against top sides. A draw a good result considering how bad that first half performance was. Haaland needs to do more as well, completely anonymous. I actually think Phil had a poor game as well despite his fantastic goal.
I think they just hid his sun creamDon't forget they poisoned Kev as well
:-)
Gotta remember though that silva started playing regularly in the midfield for city towards his late 20’s/early 30’s. By then it’s expected that he would know how to fully use his body. The one thing that goes against Foden playing in the middle and this is nitpicking but it’s his size and lack of strength when players tight to him and getting shrugged off the ball but he’s world class and becoming a KDB level goal threat
Just shows how good David Silva to play in the middle at his size and nobody got close to him
It does feel like 3-3 is a disappointment & a screen shot of our season, but I would have quite happily taken the 2-1 defeat at half-time3-3 away v a rested Real Madrid with some of your most influential players is a “crap result”!
Nonsense.
Thought he was poor against Palace as well, he’s played a lot of footballnever seen us give the ball away so often, but they're first two goals were lucky deflections, i thought rodders had a nightmare, so all in all a result
Sun Tzu, every battle is won before it’s ever fought…Madrid players looked crushed at full time……hopefully they’ll bring that lack of belief with them next week
Would have taken that beforehand, no messing. However, disappointed we couldn’t manage the game out when leading going into the last 10. At Half time I said if we can get away with just a 1 goal deficit we’d have done well, we were poor in that first half.
Second half we were transformed and were very good. We scored 3 great goals as well. They got 2 very fortuitous goals. On to the 2nd leg. I’m confident.
That’s a bit nasty, he played well !Just a dead leg Phil :)
Is that even an injury? Glad he's alright thoughJust a dead leg Phil :)
We are in a bloody remarkable position considering what we have achieved over the years...no other team or manager has come close to this, to still be in with a shout of winning 3 trophiesMagnificent night. Proud of the lads. The match day thread is a joke. Complete joke.
We have a real chance of 2 trophies this season which will be simply incredible. Three I suspect will be a bit too much.
