It all depends on HaalandWouldn't bet on it, but that time is getting nearer.
If he’s fit it means either Gundo or Bernardo don’t start

The only thing Pep is guilty of is setting the standards so high that some of our cry-arse fan base can't accept an off season.
Inzaghi from Inter, all day longExactly, the people who want him out have no idea who they would appoint to replace him.
Getting rid would be suicidal.
Even the fucking piss-can understood that. Good job he forgot to tell the Glazers, Moyes and the stooges that followed Moyes.Difference.
Madrid dispose off their players who slightly drop standard i.e Ozil, Di Maria, Varane, Casemiro,
We stick to players who are well past it, Gundo, Bernie, Walker, KDB.
No sentiment in football. Best time to improve the squad is whilst your still at top not when things have imploded like they have this season.
Good post but entering the season having 1 striker and a crucial DM position without having appropriate cover doesn’t really suggest good planning does it?I disagree , Txiki is leaving , Pep wants to stay and build a new team. The club seem extremely confident we will win the 115 debacle.
Badly run clubs don’t win 4 in a row , win trebles.
And all of the new signings look extremely promising, get a few more in in key positions and we are good to go.
It was inevitable there would be a drop off , and that’s the fact of the matter.
Maybe Pep was in two minds with his personal problems , his best mate in football is retiring.
All the club has done wrong is maybe not make signings in the summer, if we had of done , and we still had an average season with bedding in new players , some on here would still have plopped their pants.
2/3 quality signings in the summer and we will have stolen a March on our competitors.
Liverpool need to sign a good 3/4 players , Arsenal are Arsenal and can’t hide anymore.
We will be fine , trust the club and manager.
I'm a mod, not an option, sadly.Use the block button.
Yeah I was thinking more of the occasion as a send off, celebrating his efforts, in front of the home crowd. I’m sure it would be a bumper crowd. But I suppose they could organise that at any time. It's not the 1970's players are paid a fortune these days, testimonials are a thing of the past.
I don't think there's a manager in the league who'd have dealt with the injuries we've had this year in an aging squad who have won the lot challenging for third place.Do you think pep is blameless this year?
You do realise he's in the last year ,, again next year ?,,,,,,he'd better build fkin quick thenI disagree , Txiki is leaving , Pep wants to stay and build a new team. The club seem extremely confident we will win the 115 debacle.

KDB will land on his feet. I'm sure he's house hunting in Rancho Santa Fe. One of the ritziest areas of San Diego.Been thinking that since it would be a shame for KDB not to get a testimonial? (Do they do them anymore?) think it’s after ten years service isn’t it? And next season would be ten years would it not?
Nunes aint anywhere near the level - he is another Phillips - Pep doesnt rate him and so deservedly doesnt get into our midfield...to say he would have been better is plain wrong and desperate.
Grealish - he aint playing for one or two reasons - problems off the pitch affecting his performances on it - hugely overrated player and makes zero difference - especially from an attacking point of view
Doku - i really like him but he loses posession as he is a player who takes high risks (nothing wrong with that but not against Madrid away)
Pep went for dominating the ball - it didnt work but what you dont want is a basketball game vs madrid and the likes of Doku, Nunes give you that - they would have scored 10 if it had been like that
The key is as Ive said since the Rodri injury is that with the current squad there is no answer to the real issues and they ALL lie with our midfield or lack of it....the older players cant do it anymore and the replacements arent good enough.
But I’d have preferred a ‘basketball game’ that derives it’s meaning from ‘end to end’, than tonight.Nunes aint anywhere near the level - he is another Phillips - Pep doesnt rate him and so deservedly doesnt get into our midfield...to say he would have been better is plain wrong and desperate.

Ffs sake, that Barnet reminds me of Swales. City made me as bald as Helen’s bellend and I’m proud of it. Let’s just batter the dippers.Thankfully at work tomorrow...

I'll not remember a thing.
You're new to the Match Day Thread, right? That was a tough watch. I had no realistic expectation that we would win but I was expecting us to give a better account than we did. I was not sure what Pep was trying to do and the players looked equally confused.
Conceding so early seemed to derail any plan we had. It was a bad goal to give away but Mbappe took it really well as he did his other two goals.
There was a lot to admire about how Real played even if they have a lot of detestable individuals.
What did surprise me was the level of vitriol aimed at Pep and the team in the match thread. It was getting quite nasty and I think Pep and co deserve better. We have seen amazing times under his leadership even if his overthinking has been frustrating and counter-productive at times.
Pep has sacrificed a lot for City including his marriage. He has had battles both on and off the pitch and his dedication has never wavered. He is human and his levels are going to dip at some point.
We would not have won this competition even if we had somehow got past Madrid so I don't really care about going out. Top 5 and the FA Cup are realistic goals for this team particularly as many of the stronger teams have been kocked out of the cup already.
If we can do that and put the 115 charges nonsense behind us then it will have been a good season.
I am excited to see how City develop over the next few seasons. We have signed some very exciting young players so there is alot to look forward to. We just need to sort these injuries out as they have killed us.
There both average these days so it doesn't really matter who played.Kovo shoukd have started over Gundo. The difference was huge as soon as he came on.
I couldn’t give a shite who wins it , the pressure will be on them next season , to show how big their balls really are , many a team win one , then disappear for 5 seasons.I will be more depressed if we beat Liverpool and somehow arsenal managed to win the league
