Big win that! Referee tried his hardest to ruin it, not sending off Rudiger could have been a shambles if they equalised but fair play, we stuck in and defended like champions.

Nico O’Reilly, once again, making it look easy. How he’s not absolutely drained after the constant running he does, I’ll never know. Shout out to Gvardiol as well, can sometimes make baffling little errors but was an absolute rock today.

If we get a win in the arctic circle in January, I reckon we’re in
 
We got better as the game went on…..thought Doku should have been Man of the Match closely followed by the two Nico’s.

Still not perfect and we lost too many challenges/50 50’s but either Rodri returning or the acquisition of another physical midfielder will go some way to solve that.

Credit to the three forward subs when they came on….just what we needed at the right time.

It’s great when we can beat Madrid away and still be looking for improvement.
 
Great result! Dug deep and got over the line!

For me it makes the Leverkusen result more frustrating - we’d be all but qualified had we won!!

Go and get 3 points in the Artic Circle and we’re should be through!

If that was the dippers/united/arsenal we would all be suggesting they were trying to throw that game with the way Pep set us up. Bloody awful from Pep but great individual performances got him off the hook. Doku, magnificent. Nico holding the midfield on his own, Nunes and O'Reilly brilliant, Gvardiol rock solid, a number of the less established players really stepping up and leaving their mark tonight. Should give us a lot of confidence going into the Christmas period.

Great effort. We were sleepwalking until the equalizer but were a much better team than them afterwards. Good scrappy win.

Reffing was so bad. Doku had 0 protection all game. Rudiger, Valverde and Carrerras could/should have been double yellow'd. Jude should've had a yellow on the tackle on Nunes before rudiger fouled Savio.

They couldn’t handle Doku. Fouling him constantly. Thankfully for Madrid, Trossards brother was reffing
