Real Madrid (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

Opted out of the match thread 2nd half because of the dire state of it.

I've never been surrounded by such a group of mopey downmouth ledge sitters and I consult at a psychiatrist unit a few days a week.
Aye. Anyone who didn't thoroughly enjoy that is a fucking weirdo.

Just need a 3-0 next week 'n whip on pens!

Tonight has seen another twenty minute episode of 'Tyoical City'. We hold our own for the first twenty mins and then the next twenty is characteristic of some of the most comical efforts Hough End would have seen. The essence of that second twenty minutes is inexplicable. I can't understand how players who kept NUFC down to one and then came back with a masterclass could produce a shambolic twenty mins. How could players 'n manager legislate for it? Fuck knows!
That means extra time a few days before Wembley

No thanks. I’d rather lose

Some bad performances across the pitch from the keeper to striker but when the manager sets you up so poorly that you're essentially playing on a 45° sloped pitch against you both halves then it doesnt really matter how the players perform.

Up there with one of the worst tactical setup Peps ever done.

If that was Arsenal or Bayern playing that Madrid team, they win handsomely.

Absolutely no chance we overturn that, bately mustered a chance all game, at best, we marginally win the second leg and go out with a little bit of respect back. Ultimately i'm not overly arsed about going out as we don't stand a chance of winning it but that performance was pathetic, will Pep admit post march he got it drastically wrong or will he say we played well but "suffered in the moments"

Never. It's gonna be up and down til next season. Don't give up on him yet.

You don't get that pace back and for somebody who didn't really have much in the first place it leaves him as a sitting duck. Absolutely gutted for the bloke

The time has come. Pep out!
Ok. No one has been more instrumental in us winning as many trophies as we have and he set the success standard by which you are now comparing him and because he’s not meeting those incredible standards lately, he doesn’t deserve a chance to fix it so needs to be sacked. Pathetic.

Arbeloa, McFarlane, Carrick. Am I naming inexperienced managers? Yes. And all 3 of them have got the better of Pep this season. It’s pathetic.

What has fucked me off more is that it isn't even Madrid's strongest 11.
Absolutely fuckin shite and don't get me started about haaland.
He's been great for 3 years but his body language and his shitshows are starting to get on my tits.
We looked so much better on Saturday at Newcastle, so fluid and looked a threat.
Haaland comes back in and the dynamics change.
He isn't giving off anything positive when he plays.

So fucked off.

might get pelters for it but if someone wants to give us £100m for Rodri let them have him. hes still a good player but 30 in the summer and he’s dropping off like casemeiro did at 30/31
Throw Haaland in too hes got to be attracting 75m at least we could go for that lad who ripped spurs apart ….. oh hang on a minute

Acl is a two year injury. Sports history proves that. I'm not giving up yet.
