I don’t really know what to say about this City team. At times this season, I thought yeah we’re looking a decent team. Cherki was growing into the team, Nico was beginning to look a player, Haaland was still scoring. Since the new year, although we had a good run, it hasn’t been pretty.

Semenyo and Haaland together has to stop. Two players who can’t control a football shouldn’t be playing so close to each other, it will never work. Haaland needs to be around technicians running onto their balls.

Which begs the question why the fuck did we buy him? We know Haaland cannot control a sack of spuds so you’re absolutely right they should not be playing together.

oh really what were these chances? our XG was 0.56. O Reilly surprising the defender was our best chance ffs mostly we just shat the ball across the goal for no one or it got blocked. cant remember fuck all shots that had any chance of going in
 
We were second best tonight.

But First defeat in a while. Whether people like or not we are a team being rebuilt and it will take time as we are in the most competitive league in Europe.

Pep picked the wrong team tonight in my opinion. Far too attacking and lightweight.

The real issue we have is Halaand. Not saying it’s all his fault but increasingly we are playing with 10 men.
 
Remember Liverpool losing against Barcelona 3-0 and Dembele fucking up a golden opportunity to make it 4-0. Then they had one of their horrible nights under the floodlights at Anfield. Can we muster something similar? An early goal and rocking Etihad then maybe, but I feel it might be a flat one.

You could argue that's only because Madrid took their foot off the gas, rather than us actually improving.
 
So, so bad. Easy to say now but tonight was a night for the double pivot, Gonzales and Rodri. But that aside, we didn't push them, we didn't press them, we didn't look like we believed or we wanted.

No time to reflect or cry. Beat West Ham or else we're in for a pretty dry season which I'm not sure is satiated with a Carabao.
 
Pep and his fucking Savinho obsession should be a sackable offense on its own! Why oh why does he have to fuck about in big games!?! Semenyo from the moment he walked out of the tunnel looked fucking star struck and terrified at the same time! Viana and khaldoon should be tearing Pep to pieces over tonight

To be honest the Prem is starting to look like a turd recently. Not one of the six won, and Arsenal could win the league on fucking set pieces.
