I was desperate for us to just get one and cut it to two, as you said. Ugh.

I can't believe Courtois saved that NOR shot. He's the best keeper I've ever seen.
 
Sorry pep, that’s on you. Didn’t show any respect to the Champs league perennials and couldn’t help but tinker from that great win at Newcastle. We could have just played a bit deeper and ground out a draw but no, you fucked up again like Bodo and got battered. Your better than that.
Need a near miracle now.
 
They were the better team but 3-0 flattered them. Had we been more clinical particularly early doors we’d still be in the tie.

Rodri played well, Cherki ran the show when he came on. Sacrificing Nunes’ ability in the ball for Khus’ slight advantage in pace didn’t pay off. Savinho’s new found confidence from the weekend vanished quickly.

Not a disaster, going out will help us be stronger in the league and domestic cups. The real disappointment though is that this was far far far from a vintage Madrid team, any of our great teams of this era would’ve cruised past them.
 
Team was set up to fail from the start

Again it shows how we can have arguably the best finisher in the world, yet he looks like he doesnt fit into the style pep persists with and it ends up with us playing effectively a man down straight away

And dont get me started on savinho - hasnt really kicked on, offers zero. Can only think that pep using him to put in the shop window cos he needs to go

Donna - Obvious.

Nunes - You simply have to play the best RB in Europe. It is self sabotage not to.

Khusanov: High line. Great speed. It is that simple. Play him. Help yourself.

CB2: Play any of the other 3... They all have their strengths and weaknesses. But work well paired with Khusa.

RAN: His technique helps relieve pressure when we are pressed. Play him.

CM: Rodri, Nico G, Nico O. Rodri is the metronome. Nico G adds steel and a quick passing trait. Nico O brings the athleticism, Energy and goal crashing runs.

Wings: Doku and Cherki. 1 true winger and one attacking mid off the right.

Striker: Marmoush. He is the in form striker.And if not him, then Semenyo. Haaland is currently 3rd choice for me.

Hadn’t scored in 9 CL games before this. Rodrygo hadn’t in like 20+ games before us. Valverde is class but we make it fucking easy for the opposition as well.
 
The line-up was so wrong and the formation all over the place, I wonder what the idea to the build-up and training was in place after watching that. We were so far off from giving them a game its shocking, They were a patched-up team without their big hitters.

Pep must not come out and blow the smoke up our back sides. He fucked up big time and that brain fart happens far too much in the big games for it to be just a little mistake.

Forget any sort of comeback next week because they will score a couple more goals and just pick us off after we send out a team full of attackers
