Some hate that phrase, but what else can you call it when once again he chooses a line up and tactics that we’ve never seen before? It’s just madness.

The tactics and team selection were fucking shite, that was on Pep, but of the 11 players who were also all shite then Rodders was the worst.

Very hard to take. Outplayed all over the field .I think the only surprise in team selection was the absence of Nunes. At half time drastic changes were needed and Pep should have responded. NOR had a terrible night and Nunes should have come on. Bernardo contributed nothing and was exposed for pace, Nico G should have come on for him at HT.
Our build up play was slow and RM used pace which we could not hande

We either play to Haaland strengths or we don’t play Haaland. Otherwise we are effectively playing with 10 every game. When will we ever learn that.

That's always been a criticism of Pep's. You can count the number of changes he's made at halftime during his tenure here on one hand, I reckon.

But he needs to change that. If he goes left field like he did tonight, he needs to act quickly when it’s going to shit. He used to get away with it at Barca, Bayern and us when his style of football was all conquering, as he could slip up in the odd tournament yet revert to type in the others and put 8-18 winning runs together to still scoop up 1,2,3 cups and all was forgiven. Problem is, his style is not all conquering anymore and he has less talented players to implement it.

Hard not to Praise Valverde today, he showed more guts and fighting spirits then the hole city team, he was the player that stepped up and lead the team that way KDB, Kompany could do, we don’t have that type of player now. Very poor displays from the city players today no one showed any quality today. Semenyo and Ghuei is not good enough to play these type of games yet,
And to play Savinho is just a big question i don’t even want to talk about our set pieces they are just horrible

But I choose to salut Valverde today it just sucks we don’t have that kind of player in the team, the perfect Bernardo Silva Replacement

Valverde is an outstanding player, he really is.

Can imagine how Cherki must be feeling - the only midfielder who possesses a combination of flair and football intelligence sees Savinho starting and then Reijnders as a first sub.

Have to say, Reijnders isn’t good enough.

First off, I’m genuinely not sure what he “is”.

Second, he lacks the on the ball quality for this level.

Third, he doesn’t even have the physical presence / aggression / graft to make up for 1 and 2.

Poor buy, imo.

Outplayed. But it's not all over till the fat lady sings. No point playing Haaland if he gets no service. Savinhio off early says it all. Only plus is we did fight till the end.

And this prevents him running, does it ? Or fighting for crosses or putting himself about ? He's a lazy piece of shit on recent evidence.

Yep, he should have saved the 2nd goal, and Guehi should have been much stronger for the 3rd goal ..... if that had of happened at the other end, Rudiger would have shown everyone how to win it and clear it!

City and Pep were completely shown up tonight, the way Madrid just run through our midfield at will was very difficult to watch. The set up was wrong Pep should have gone with double pivot of Rodri and Gonzalez from the start.
