I'd have liked to see Delap in that party, hate to think we could need a goal in injury time....he'd be a good option.

To be fair I'd be amazed if Pep used him even in that scenario but then again Lavia won't get minutes in this game no matter what the score/situation is.

Oh I do hope not.
Sterling played really well on Saturday, a whole lot better than Mahrez did in the first leg.

The team pretty much picks itself depending on the fitness of the fullbacks.

I think the only decision to make is Sterling or Mahrez, and going off current form, I’d go for Sterling.

He looked really eager to impress on Saturday and think his pace in behind will be a real threat, and he works much harder than Mahrez.

Every single bit of build up in the English media i've seen over the last few days has Madrid going through. They nearly all reluctantly say City could well go through, but all end with they have a feeling Madrid will qualify. Nothing really to back that up with other than Madrid are dangerous and suddenly we have a bad defense. All forgetting City ripped Madrid to shreds for 90 minutes and 2 of their 3 goals were down to brain farts from normally solid players.
And yet all the bookies have us as strong favourites. Anyone would think the English media don't want us to qualify. Which I can't believe

Pretty confident. We played them off the park for the most part last week and proved we're a better team. They're only still in it because of that Fernandinho error, and it should be a different kettle of fish with Walker at right back (I'm hoping he bullies Vinicius tbh and don't see why he shouldn't).

Few players rested on Sat. Everyone looking up for it. Ruben and Walker back. Kev and Foden in top form. I think we'll get a couple of goals and won't concede more than that. Just nothing daft please (that goes for Pep with the lineup and Eddie being too casual playing out)

He doesnt even know how to use his 'pace'

agreed , i think we'll score 2 goals . everyone has to do their jobs though . strange to say but Sterling deserves a start .
