I think Cancelo does a little more of that than Zinchenko
Zinchenko is a weird one. Play him on a cold rainy night againts Peterborough in Carabao and he'll play like a drunkard. Put him under the lights in a UCL match starting line-up alongside our star players and hes Maldini Regen.

I'd feel more comfortable with Walker at RB and Zinchenko LB, Cancelo just trys fancy flicks and unnecessary passes. This will be an open game with plenty space, theres no pressure for our fullbacks to create to much, Real Madrid will not sit back with a deep block. The attacking responsibilities are on the front 5 for this game.

Ederson
Walker
Dias
Laporte
Cancelo
Rodri
De Bruyne
Bernardo
Mahrez
Jesus
Foden

I back us to draw/win and get through to the final. Madrid will be aggressive and try to attack so I think there will be more goals.

2-1 City.

And yet all the bookies have us as strong favourites. Anyone would think the English media don't want us to qualify. Which I can't believe
Does really matter to me would rather they under play our chances so when we win we can ram it down then.

already feeling nervous and anxious and there is more than 24 hours to go.

I think the only decision to make is Sterling or Mahrez, and going off current form, I’d go for Sterling.

He looked really eager to impress on Saturday and think his pace in behind will be a real threat, and he works much harder than Mahrez.
Depends on whether we actually want to score or not.

Is Ake injured? If we play Cancelo or Walker at right back, I’d prefer to have Ake, if fit, at left back. An attacking right back and a more defensive left back. Better balance. Allows the right back to go forward more, with Dias, Laporte and Ake morphing into a back 3

Stones is in ours. They have to be in the squad to get in dressing room on UCL match day. I remember Sergio Ramos being suspended and he was still in the squad last time.
Stones will be part of the travelling squad (24 men), as Ramos was back then. Not being on the matchday squad list (11 starters +12 subs) still allows them to be in the dressing room, but not on pitch level or in the technical area (if not registered as team official). IMO.

The Peterborough game he played in was a bit hard to judge him from. He hadn’t played for ages and his country had just been invaded. He’s normally faultless when he’s match fit.

Even with Alaba out, I can’t see them being as open with Casemiro returning. Walker returning would obviously be huge.

Modric the latest to say if Real play well, they win, and comparing us to PSG and Chelsea. Even after last week, they still don’t get how good we are. If we play well, we win. End of.

They need to be taught a lesson. Just once this season I beg for us to finish our chances, because Alaba, no Alaba; Casemiro, no Casemiro - it doesn't matter - we will create 10 chances to score.

It's just a case of whether we do our normal and finish 2/3 or get serious and finish 5/6.
