I'll give the ref praise too. Yes got a few things wrong m, including rudiger showing why he's the biggest shit house in football, but he didn't bow to the pressure and play acting.

Next week it gets real, and when a double flip and pirouette gets you nothing, we will win.

Has to be Foden, they'd expose Mahrez as the lazy so and so he can be.
Personally would stick with Bernardo - he'll have learned from that as will Pep.
 
Can’t believe anyone would have a single problem with that performance, the tactics, Pep, the result, team selection, lack of subs or individual performances, we’ve just been to the European champions and got a great result, I’m not having RM are a poor imitation of their former self blah blah blah, that’s for the red media to print, they are a great side, with world class players. We’ve just proven we can go anywhere in Europe and do the business, we’re unbeaten in the competition and favourites to progress

I don't, no more than any other team and even if we did it's hardly a shock is it? What do people expect after playing so many matches over the last 12 months? How we have been playing looks more like game management to me, can't understand how people expect us to play at 100 miles an hours every minute of every match.
 
Sorry to ask a stupid question, but if Gundo or Bernardo get booked in the return leg would that rule them out of any potential final we may make? Know it used to be the case but not sure if that's still the rules or not.

I'd really like someone to do that, perhaps one of the fringe players to come on and wipe him out, maybe a foot to his child bearing region, karate style. He could then forge a career as a soprano.

I'm not immune to moaning now and then myself,but some of the bleating on the match threads reminds me of self entitled teenagers.
A successful team comes with a load of fair weather fans I suppose.
 
Some people seem to forget that there are 2 teams in a game. City, despite controlling games against lesser teams, do occasionally come up against better sides who will not let us have it all our way. That doesn’t mean we didn’t play well, we just weren’t playing Crystal Palace or Wolves and there are times that you have to suffer. Very hot humid conditions too.

A good result is a win like 3,4,5-0 (obviously was never about to happen), this result is a relieving one especially after last year
 
Fair enough that, especially considering our schedule and the pressure.

Gave as good as we got under difficult circumstances( going behind, heat, crowd, ref) and came through.

To those trolls on here slating us and Pep lol, remember this.........that result there last season would have seen us in the final.

On to everton at the weekend, keep ticking the games off one by one lads and boil some piss.
