Pep often overthinks big CL games but nobody can claim he is today. Aguero v Jesus is not the one-sided decision it used to be. Sterling is coming back from injury and has been in horrendous form. Silva doesn’t have the legs, so Gundogan in there was always likely, not that he’s a high presser, but he’s shown more than Silva for me this season. I personally would have preferred Bernardo in there, but it’s hardly a wild example of Pep overthinking.
